Chapter 59 MOMENT OF REALIZATION
FLORENCE'S POINT OF VIEW
We greeted Zyair when he reached our table.
"Do you need anything, sir? You never been in this place before," Heaven asked him.
He cleared his throat. "For a change." He gazed at our almost empty plates. "You're already done eating?"
We nod our heads.
"Never mind. Eat some meals again, I don't want to look like an outcast," he said and signaled the lady on the counter.
"Yes, Mr. Sarmiego?" the latter asked.
He turned to me. "What do you want to eat?"
I creased my forehead. "But we're done with our lunch already."
He gave me a dead-pan look. "Don't make me repeat myself again."
I want to retort back but I felt someone kicking my legs under the table. I turned to Heaven who's beckoning me to just follow our boss' command.
I sighed. "Just an order of rice and beefsteak," I said.
He turned to Heaven this time. "What about you?"
"I think I'll have a Baked Mac and chocolate mousse for me."
