Absorbing Knowledge

"Then how about we make a deal? We will teach you all about cultivation and make you stronger. We will also help you search for the headquarters of either side. In return we ask for assistance with our endeavours in learning about this world. You will teach us about your weapons, architecture, war tactics, and about your other specialised equipment." proposed Lucius.

"Hmmm.... Deal! We can revise some of the stuff throughout but I get the general idea you have. An equivalent exchange of knowledge and help. Lets get along for the foreseeable future then." answered Michael as he got up and shook hands with Lucius.

After the agreements were reached the makeshift exchange began. They spent around 3 months in the base, teaching the Wernits through cultivation while in turn learning all about the society that had been built in Hazmit. The Wernits all had an affinity for the wood attribute because of their elf heritage, but there was a small affinity for metal in there as well. It seemed that if the Hazmit elves were to go on in this same manor for long enough they might even establish a metal elemental affinity within their future generations as a hereditary element. Hereditary elements were simply elemental affinities that belonged to a certain species from their birth as a guarantee. The phoenix had fire, the spirit turtles had water and the Basils had chaos while the Lazarus had mind. Elves were usually the subordinates of the divine wood bears and had a hereditary wood affinity. If these Hazmit elves did indeed change their hereditary affinity they would become a different species but this would take hundreds of thousands of years at least. This was a way of creating a new bloodline but it was a lot harder and took far longer than for those of the emperor realm. This was also how most of the subordinate races came to be though. The elves were once regular humans that had been taught by the divine wood bears for long enough to become a new race, the elves. Another popular example would be the mermaids that came from the spirit turtle clan or the dwarves that came from the divine metal tiger clan.

Lucius was learning the manufacturing methods of the weapons, the process and mechanisms behind industrialisation and the principles behind special equipment like the camouflage cloak or the night vision goggles and such. He began to learn of how if used correctly, a tier 1 amount of power can be used as effectively as a tier 2 attack. In other words, he was able to evolve his blacksmithing and formations by maximizing the usage. This taught him the true power of control and he was able to upgrade his qi techniques too with this enlightenment. He began to work with Maria on building a weapon for himself and the other two. He started drawing up designs, forging them and then retrying when they failed. Some times he would get the power gauge wrong and the weapon would explode on him from an overload of energy, other times it simply didn't hit hard enough.

His design was a mix between a sword and a gun. It looked quite strange as it was a blade that was split into two prongs with a gap in between where the light rays would be shot. The blade would have to be sharp but also durable and able to withstand high temperatures. In Hazmit they had manufactured certain alloys for different kinds of guns. For his weapon he would be using the rifle mode of firing so he used that alloy in conjunction with some flame elemental tier 2 ores. He also used some ice elemental ores at the tip of the barrel and in the energy building tank in the guard of the blade. He used the ice ores in conjunction with some ice formations to cool down the weapon so there was less danger of it overheating or exploding. He then went to work on the others' weapons. Delilah would get a spear with a spear head on the one end and a sniper barrel on the tail end. Johnny would have a staff that could be split into two that would have pistols in each one. Combined though it would make a shotgun attack that was used for armour penetration and siege tactics.

Next was Delilah who had learnt all the formations she could. She had also studied with Lucius to learn the guns' formations but she went on to learn the factory formations that let the robots create all the things effortlessly. She studied everything she could find within the base to do with formations, from the toilets and heating to the invisibility cloaks and the vehicles too. The vehicles had fascinated her and Lucius as they looked into creating them for themselves. In the cultivation world, one could begin to fly as soon as tier 3 so it wasn't a necessity to make a travel vehicle. Also with flying beast pets and the famous flying sword these big chunky metal machines were considered idiotic and a waste of space. However, using certain parts like the engines, the nitro boosters and other parts, they were able to think about making a flying jet that could accelerate with speed far above its own grade. With their estimations they could manufacture a lot of tier 1 grade vehicles that could move at the speed of tier 2 and then tier 2 vehicles with tier 3 speed. This would be an amazing thing when it came to their clan creation later on. With enhanced travel everything would speed up, they would be able to obtain resources and transfer them quicker. They would be able to patrol their land and move from city to city rapidly with large numbers of troops. Delilah could imagine facing a war in the future and while the enemies army advanced slowly, they could use these jets to get their elite troops into the other camps headquarters and wreck havoc before they could even defend themselves.

She also spent her time teaching the Wernits and got quite close to Julia since they were both headstrong and stubborn woman. She would go on expeditions with Julia to find the Armies' HQ's but they weren't able to find anything. However, now with Delilah and the boys' strength they were able to annihilate large amounts of troops and they started to search more openly and widely. The Liberated Youths were no longer a secret organisation. Because of this, the resistance had a new influx of recruits while they began to be targeted by higher levelled army officials. Just like the 1000 troops that got carpet bombed for their outpost clean ups, Julia's squad was about to be bombed but Delilah was able to notice the jet from around 30 km's away (her new eagle eye distance) and shot it down with a fully powered sniper blast that instantly killed the pilot of the jet and tore a hole through the back of the jet. Within the 3 months, the number of Liberated Youth members increased from 3000 to around 7,200, more than double what it was before.

Johnny on the other hand wasn't battling or conquering but instead was engrossed in the architectural wonders of this planet. He mostly studied the ancient architecture as it was more aesthetic and nicer on the eyes but the modern and minimalistic architecture had its own advantages too. The main thing Johnny was learning wasn't the style but the layout. He was learning about the various bases, kingdoms and tribes of the past and saw their layouts. He now knew that different layouts suggested different things. Sometimes there were past kings that hadn't walled their capital cities to suggest their power and authority. They were saying that it didn't matter who attacked because even though they didn't have a wall, they were strong enough to simply deter all those who would attempt to attack them. He began to understand the tales that could be told from architecture about those that designed it but more importantly, about the ones that had requested the architect to design it in the first place.

He also learnt of different buildings he had never seen before, like the hospital, garage, command centre, conference room and research rooms. He had never seen these types of buildings before and realised the importance of the hospital and research rooms. The command room would also be useful and was far more useful than the kings halls that he had seen before. The kings halls were a place for the king to sit in the centre on a throne and then their advisors and dukes and such would sit in the hall and discuss issues and such but a command room was a room where the commands were given and the information received. This world had little drones that they had built which flew around and recorded information that was sent back to the command room and then was seen by the commander, Jessica. The drones were a reconnaissance equipment that could make or break a war. If these drones were brought into a cultivation world like Bakre it would be highly useful. The drone themselves were disguised as birds and if one had no knowledge of their existences then one wouldn't be wary of them. Since these drones weren't made from qi or qi formations, they would not be sensed by masters even if they were nearby. As long as they were life like enough they would go undetected. These drones would be highly useful in the future.

Time passed as another three months went by in a flash. In this time the Wernits had all reached the Spirit Gatherer realm while Lucius had reached the 7th layer of Spirit Condenser and Johnny was just behind at the 4th layer. Delilah had reached the 6th layer of Elemental Ascension realm in this time but also increased her war techniques and battle awareness a lot. This also increased her leadership qualities as she was able to lead Julia's squad from time to time. Lucius had used his own knowledge of blacksmithing along with Marias help to enhance the weapons and make them far more effective and efficient. Now the guns wouldn't overheat as much and their range had increased. The advantage of the guns was that they were completely silent but their downfalls were their bright light and short range since they were only light rays. In this time Johnny had started finishing the design for the clan and then was able to begin the building of it soon after.

The membership numbers had gone up from 7,200 to around 48,000 in these 3 months alone!
