Khloe's POV
Convincing Nevian to attend the family meeting was like trying to stop a child in pain from crying.
Every skill I had, I had to put out everything, all in a bid to get him to say yes.
If I hadn't received the text from his father, I wouldn't have known about the meeting and of course,.he wouldn't have mentioned it to me as he wasn't interested in it either.
When we arrived, my eyes were quick to fall on Lance's car pulling up next to Nevian's own and immediately, I let out a low sigh.
The next thing I saw made my heart jump into my mouth and with the speed of lightning, I got out of the car.
Shielding Nevian from Adele, I snarled, "What do you think you are doing?" My eyes were reddened in anger.
"What does it look like I'm doing?" She retorted. "It isn't wrong to say hi to my brother-in-law." She tried to bypass me but I pushed her off.
"Know your limits." I said, my voice low but firm.
