Nevian!
"What the hell is going on here?" He asked, stepping further into the room.
On my part, I tried to pull away from Lance but he was adamant. He held on to me like his whole existence depended on it.
"Let go." I whispered but he still wouldn't budge.
"What are you doing here?" He started the conversation instead, trying to shield me from Nevain whose gaze was tearing through my skin.
Shutting my eyes, I let out a low grunt.
Finally, my imagination became a reality.
Thanks to their incessant fights, this had crossed my mind a few times before but I was quick to push the thought hoping it never happened.
"I should be the one asking you that." Nevain retorted. "You have no right to be here." He huffed.
"And don't tell me you are trying to cheat on your wife with my wife."
His words made me go still as I pressed my lips tightly together, my breathing hitched.
