In an ancient town of catholic roots in the Pre-War America of 1935, strange events and phenomena often manifest in the worst of their forms. Vanilla Land, a 16 years old outcast and weirdo with access to magical plushes —ancient and powerful totems capable of summoning powerful spirits and powers for its users— loves to explore wicked places, investigate mysteries, and even fight horrid abominations when necessary. And it's in one of these explorations where she suddenly meets her abrupt when she and a powerful apparition destroy each other. The result? A powerful, demonical entity is impressed by her actions and gives her a second opportunity to live again. She must perform a series of tasks for such an entity —not without getting rewarded with more powerful artifacts and plushes— but in the end, everything points out that there's an ancient source of power capable of redefining reality. And she's not the only one trying to reach it... XLVI. The Heart of the Vault.

"Well," Lancelot the Skeleton spoke. He approached the expositors at the left wall. "After the short passage ahead we'll find Sir William Oaths' main vault and the place where he was buried at, as I was telling you."

"What are you doing?" Vanilla asked, still inspecting the nailed aberration they just killed. Its blood spilled through the wall and made a puddle on the floor.

"You aren't taking these, so it's better if I get ready. I might be resistant to bullets, but that doesn't mean I like to be shot."

The skeleton opened the glass cover of the expositor with the musket and the conquistador helmet. He put it on his head. "Do I look good?"

"You look funny!" Rowie giggled. 

"Funnily handsome, my dog friend." He picked up the musket and put the strap on his shoulder. "Now, we are ready to go." 

"You go first, we'll follow," Vanilla told him. She approached the final passage with Custos Cattus by her side.

"Why do I need to go first?"
