"Well, now I feel glad that we could rescue that pig from those harpies," Vanilla said. "What did you do after that?"

"At first I had no idea about what to do with this thing," She touched the skull with the tip of her boot. "I thought it was a human skull, but then I discovered those lower horns, flat bones, or whatever they are at each side when I unburied it to see better. You suddenly came into my mind, and I remembered how much you know about these things, so I decided to leave it here as a secret until you visited us again, so I could show you it."

"Well, it's a good thing you did," Vanilla responded. "If you called the police or something they surely would have taken it to some lab or archeology center."

"Yeah, I know..." She tipped once again the skull. "this thing is horrendous, right? I can't imagine to what animal it could belong to. Do you have any idea?"
