Scoffing, she shook her head and yanked her hand away from his hold. "Unfortunately, my injury is not in the mood to talk. Goodnight," refusing to stay, she said and faked a smile at him.

Annoyed, Fernando stood up and picked her up then he dropped her on the sofa and hovered over her, pinning her down so she wouldn't escape.

"Let me go, Alpha Fernando, what else do you want? Is this where you start punching me?" Unable to contain her anger, she rambled on, tears flowing out of her eyes.

She was pained, he could feel it but he just knew he wanted her beside him now. It felt like letting her leave now would be his biggest mistake, but turns out it won't.

She thinks he would start beating her up like her abusive father and step-brother. How was he going to make her see things from his perspective?
