Lily's Shocker - 1

Mabon only smiled at Lily Malum when he took some steps toward her to begin with what he wanted to do to her. Then, a soldier came running to where they were but he was stopped by the soldiers that were guarding the place where Lily was.

"I need to speak with the commander at once!" the soldier said with a hint of urgency in his voice.

Mabon heard and stopped in his tracks. "Let him through," he ordered and at once the soldiers made way for the other one that had come bearing a message for the commander.

"Yes?" Mabon asked with the straightest face ever.

The soldier stood at attention in front of the commander without uttering a word. He had other of his superiors there and if he made the mistake of saying that he had a piece of information for the commander, he could be intercepted later on and ordered by them to give out what he'd said to the commander.
