Contract Marriage with A Mafia Don: Their Secrets

Jacqueline Kelly found herself compelled to sign a marriage contract in order to cover her father's mounting hospital expenses. However, this was no ordinary contract. Not only was the intended groom a notorious and domineering mafia don named Benjamin Turner, but Jacqueline also had to impersonate her twin sister, Jasmine Martin, who was rumored to be the sole object of his affection. If Benjamin uncovered her true identity, the gates of death would open for her. Jacqueline's grip on her skirt tightened as her hand trembled. Her gaze shifted from the marriage contract before her, to the polite smile of Madam Claire Turner, and then to Benjamin, who sat beside her. "Why the hesitation?" he murmured in her ear, then he poised his expensive fountain pen near the contract. Panicking, Jacqueline frantically picked up the pen, hoping he wouldn't find out she wasn't his Jasmine through her clumsiness. Will Jacqueline ultimately sign the contract, even with the dangerous mafia don as her prospective husband by her side? Will her true identity be unveiled by the man she's supposed to marry? And can she successfully fulfill the mission entrusted to her by Madam Claire Turner?

Moves - Part 1

Jacqueline felt her cheeks heat up. She withdrew her hand from Benjamin's grasp.

"It's okay, don't worry too much about me," Jacqueline said without looking at Benjamin.

Benjamin noticed her turning red ears. He knew his actions had made her shy. So, he gave her some space.

They didn't speak to each other during the journey. Before getting out of the car, Jacqueline surprised Benjamin with a gift. She gave him a flash kiss on the cheek and then left Benjamin behind, whose confusion and astonishment were evident on his face.

Samuel, who opened the car door for Benjamin, saw everything. Realizing Benjamin didn't get out of the car even though the door was open, Samuel cleared his throat, "Master, we've arrived."

Benjamin immediately snapped out of his confusion and got out of the car, his eyes still sharp as ever. Samuel looked at his serious face, wondering how he looked after Lady's unexpected kiss.

Benjamin walked up to the balcony, where they would dine. When he arrived, Jacqueline was quietly admiring the sea view. The sea breeze was playing with her hair.

Hearing footsteps, Jacqueline looked back. Her eyes met Benjamin's, Jacqueline turned back, but her gaze was no longer focused on the majestic seascape.

Benjamin admired Jacqueline's back. He knew she wanted to bring their relationship closer, even though she tended to become shy. But Benjamin loved that, loved her rosy cheeks every time she initiated intimacy with him, loved the way she didn't push his hand away whenever he touched her hair, cheeks, and lips with his mouth.

Benjamin loved everything about Jacqueline.

During the meal, Jacqueline tried but couldn't speak a word to Benjamin, the man she had kissed.

Luckily, Benjamin didn't make her feel embarrassed.

Samuel suggested some interesting places to visit after lunch, but Jacqueline expressed her desire to return to Benjamin's mansion because she was tired.

...

Helena received notice that the Master and Lady were returning. It was earlier than her estimation. She quickly went outside with the maids to welcome the Master back.

Benjamin got out of the car, with Jacqueline in his arms, asleep.

He went straight to Jacqueline's bedroom, laying her down on the soft white bed.

Benjamin kneeled and took off her shoes. He tenderly held her small and soft feet in his hands, "What's the matter, Helena?"

Helena, who was standing outside and observing them, was startled by Benjamin's question.

She walked in with a nightgown in her hands, "I've prepared a nightgown for Lady. It would be more comfortable for her to wear it."

"Leave it on the table and go outside," Benjamin said, his eyes still fixed on Jacqueline.

Helena narrowed her eyes as she saw Benjamin's obsessive care for Jacqueline. Though she wanted to take care of Jacqueline instead of Benjamin, she couldn't disobey his orders.

Helena stepped outside, leaning against the tightly closed door. She unconsciously bit her nails, seeming to be contemplating something. Her eyes showed sharpness and fierceness.

"Helena, what's going on in Lady's room?" someone said to her.

Helena was startled, looking at the source of the sound. It was Samuel, looking at her with assessing eyes.

Helena adjusted her expression, returning to the necessary professionalism of a butler, "Master and Lady are in the room. Lady is sleeping, and Master is taking care of her."

Samuel smiled, but his eyes didn't contain joy, "Is that so? Then I shouldn't disturb them anymore."

"That's a wise choice," Helena wanted to leave.

As she passed by Samuel, he coldly said, "Don't let your emotions interfere with your work. You're the butler of the mansion. So just do what a butler needs to do."

"Are you warning me? How foolish," Helena retorted.

"No, I wouldn't dare," Samuel said.

But Helena didn't believe his words.

Samuel stood outside and waited until Benjamin came out of the room.

"I've investigated the driver, who lowered the car window when a stranger approached Lady," Samuel said. "Last month, he received a large sum of money, but I couldn't find information about the sender. They were too cautious."

"Alright, report to me about other matters," Benjamin said and walked back to his room. Samuel did as Benjamin requested during the walking process.

They entered Benjamin's office at the end of the hallway. He sat down on his favorite chair, unbuttoning a few buttons on his shirt.

"Master, do you think that person was sent by Mrs. Turner?" Samuel hesitated, wanting to know his Master's speculation about who was trying to approach Miss Jacqueline.

"There's no reason for that woman to approach Jane. From the beginning, she's been a pawn on that woman's chessboard," Benjamin said.

"I didn't think it through," Samuel felt ashamed of his lack of insight.

"But it doesn't mean my dear mother has nothing to do with the unexpected incident this afternoon," Benjamin smirked. "There's no shortage of people who want to overthrow us, and they are potential allies of that woman in the future."

"Are you implying, Mrs. Turner might disclose Lady's information?" Samuel realized something.

"It's just my speculation," Benjamin tapped his fingers on the table, pondering for a moment before calling Samuel.

"Yes, my Master," Samuel bowed respectfully, ready to await Benjamin's command.

"Investigate the families and gangs with a peaceful relationship with the Turner family," Benjamin smirked. "I want to find out who wants to stab our back."

Jacqueline woke up after a short nap. She looked out the window and realized it was dark outside. Someone had brought her back to her room, helped her put on her nightgown, and massaged her sore feet from her high heels.

Jacqueline opened the window, closed her eyes, and enjoyed the cool breeze on her skin. It was romantic until she heard her stomach growl with hunger.

Jacqueline closed the window, changed clothes, and then went downstairs to find something to fill her stomach.

Jacqueline didn't see any maids during the walk. It was strange. She knew the mansion was operated by many people, but she rarely saw them. She only knew Helena and Samuel. So sometimes Jacqueline felt like she was living alone in this large mansion.
