In a French Riviera Villa, Franklin stood by the skylight, looking up at the sky that was gradually covered by dark clouds, his light brown eyes were as cold as ice.

In less than five minutes, rain began to fall from the sky like thousands of silver threads, wetting the transparent glass windows.

Gareth stood aside, waiting silently.

Suddenly, a melodious tone broke the silence in the apartment. Gareth glanced at Franklin's back, walked out of the hall, and then answered the phone. "Hello..."

Hearing the words coming from the phone, his brows knitted together slightly. After a while, he walked back to the living room and reported to Franklin. "President, for some reason, Miss Harley did not report to work."

He asked people to keep an eye on Ava's movements and report to him if anything happened. So, he knew immediately that Ava didn't go to the company.
