Double Trouble!

In that particular moment, my last two brain cells that were still active and alive, trying to figure out a way on how I was able to get out of that sticky situation. My hands were firmly glued onto the doorknob, twisting it back and forth.

" Nothing.. Jeez, what kind of crappy doorknob gets stuck this easily?! ", I thought.

I thought calling Emily would help solve my problem, but I forgot that she was having her special bubble bath back at home, and of course, her phone would have obviously been muted.

But, I couldn't waste much time. Fear was escalating quickly as I stood there, standing still in my man form.

I glanced at my watch, I had exactly about 25 minutes left to leave the building before I changed back.

Not to forget, William was also in the room, seated by his desk doing his own work.

I turned my back against the door and as I leaned onto it, I soon told him, " Ermm, sir? Sorry to interrupt but there's something wrong with the door.. It's stuck! "

The look on his face changed from a more calm relaxed person, to the face of getting ready for battle in a war.

" Does this guy have some weird fetish over doors getting stuck?! What's with the creepy vibes man!? ", I asked myself in worrisome.

" Did you not eat rice today? ", he asked politely while sipping down his coffee.

" Now ain't the time to be mocking me you little brat! ", I thought to myself.

He stood up from his seat and went straight towards the door to try and unlock it.

But it didn't work. As expected and predicted, as I myself had already tried twisting the doorknob from left to right over a million times.

He then said as he tried tugging at the doorknob once more, " It's firmly stuck. Well, looks like we're locked in. My phone's dead, let me use your phone to call for maintenance to help us get out. "

I quickly took out my phone and handed it to him. Once he made the call, he told me, " They're gonna come and unlock the door but, it's gonna take quite some time. Maybe about 30 minutes they are able to reach. "

My face and body frozed in horror. I thought to myself, " OH SHIT! 30 MINUTES?!? I WON'T HAVE ENOUGH TIME TO GET OUT! Looks like I have to do that one thing that I'm gonna regret for the rest of my life... but it's the only way for me to keep my secret safe. "

William then looked at me and asked with curiosity, " What's with the worrisome look? Are you in a hurry or something? "

At first, in my mind was, " OF COURSE I AM! I'M A FEW MINUTES AWAY FROM CHANGING BACK TO MY NORMAL SELF! WOULD YOU LIKE TO WITNESS A GUY MAGICALLY TRANSFORMING INTO A FEMALE?! NO! I DON'T THINK SO! "

But, I kept my composure and replied in a steady tone,

" O-oh, erm, I-i just need to go back and visit my mother! I'm suppose to have dinner with her! I don't want to make her wait long! "

Then he said, " Don't worry so much, I'm sure your mother won't mind you being a few minutes late. "

I felt slightly annoyed with him but it was about time I made my move towards him.. Not in a perverted manner or anything of the sort!

I waited five minutes before my time was up. Once the clock striked at exactly 9.55p.m, I stood up from my seat and casually pretended to pick up something that I had " dropped " behind him.

I finally grabbed the opportunity and knocked out William by hitting him at the side of his neck but not too hard since it might cause permanent damage to him.

"Too bad though, that would have felt good.. EH!? WHAT AM I THINKING, I'LL BE SENT TO PRISON! ", I said that while I shooked my head from left to right.

I looked back at William, his body fell flat on his desk. I stepped closer and whispered in his ear, " ~ I'm sorry sir. I have no other choice! *sighs*. Please don't fire me once you wake up! T-T ~ "

But after doing that, the scent of his cologne was making me spiral out of control. It smelled like those colognes that super rich people wore to fancy events and stuff related to that.

When it finally became 10 o'clock, I looked at my phones camera to soon realise that I had changed back to a girl.

" Great to see this gorgeous face again! ", I said while smiling.

When maintenance FINALLY arrived, they were able to open the door. When they entered the room, I told them in a hurriedly tone, " Hey! Thanks for saving me and my boss, erm, could you help deal with him? He fainted from the shock of being locked up in a room. And I'm in a lot of hurry, so, I'll leave ya to him. Thanks again! "

I quickly dashed out of the building and headed straight home. Once I reached my apartment, I changed into comfier clothes to have dinner by myself. Sadly not with my mother, she was busy traveling in Europe T-T.

I looked at my clock to see the time, it showed 11.30p.m. I had an hour left to get ready for my night shift. I told myself, " Once I'm done with my night shift, I don't think I can survive the next day! Well, looks like I gotta bare with it till the end! "

After I had dinner, I got a text on my other phone. It was from Bryan, but it seemed that it was for Ryan.... This was what the conversation looked like.

Bryan: Hey Ryan! I heard that Selena's gonna start working the night shift! But is she still alright though?

Ryan: Hi Bryan! Yeah she is! I was able to convince our new CEO to change her schedule to night time. I have my specialties :) But overall, she's finee. She just left my apartment to head over to work!

Bryan: Oh! That's great! I can't wait to meet her again! It's only been like 2 days? But most of my groups already miss her lol. By the way, did you hear about the new assistant hired by the CEO? I heard he's really good looking! I wonder who that lucky person could be..

Ryan: Erm, that person you're wondering is me.. I somehow got upgraded by the CEO to be his personal assistant haha. Anyways, I gotta go and sleep now. Big day for me tomorrow! Nightt!

Bryan: WHAT THE WHAT!!??? OMG, WOW, THAT'S A SHOCKER! PLZ TELL ME EVERYTHING TOMORROW! Also nightt!

I quickly got ready for my night shift. I grabbed a sandwich that I had bought at a supermarket and went out the door.

Once I stepped inside the building, I reminded myself that I was now a girl. And that included acting as my casual self.

Pretending like nothing ever happened during my absence. I got back to my original desk to start my shift.

I met up with my colleagues who were also working the night shift and I met some new friends too!

Some told me about the whole new CEO and his good looking assistant story... well I had to pretend that I didn't even knew despite it was actually all me during that whole drama..

" Seriously Selena, you missed out on a lot! That Ryan guy has such a sweet mouth! I'm quite jealous that he got elected to be the CEO's assistant. ", my colleague mentioned.

" I heard he shouted at Maddie for being such a creeper towards him! HAHA! ", another stated.

" Wait. Maddie? You mean Maddie Kuff? ", I asked back.

They nodded in agreement.

" I just shouted at MADDIE KUFF? The one girl who made fun of me throughout high school?! The one who almost ruined my entire life?! THAT WAS AMAZING! But.. why does she look so different..? ", I questioned myself.

" Oh yeahhh, I forgot to tell you this. But Maddie went through major changes. It's so obvious that it's from plastic surgery. Her dumb boyfriend dumped her for some hot chick, then she wanted to get revenge, blah blah. So she went under the knife to look beautiful but I guess she went a bit too far... ", one more said.

" Look beautiful? She now looks more like a goat that applied too much make up! ", I replied.

" How would you know? You just came back from being sick gurl. ", another asked.

" Oh! Erm.. another friend, who was ex friends with Maddie told me! Yeah... ", I said awkwardly.

And that was another great example of when I wanted to face palm myself over a million of times. I was still trying to get used to switching personalities and all. In conclusion, I am still terrible at it.

Later on, I continued my night taking pictures, editing, the casual duties of course.

But not for long, I was writing down a report when I got called into the office, in which it was referring to William's office.

My face was confused at first, but I just swiftly walked in. Then, my jaw dropped down till the floor. Alright, maybe not but it was somewhat similar.

Either way, William was sitting by his desk but with a stern and slightly angry face?

" Oh.. hooray.. he survived my attack.. Tsk.. lucky. ", I thought.

He then asked me to sit down.

He eventually asked me one of the hardest questions that I honestly thought I myself could not even answer, he showed me a video clip from todays incident, " What were you doing in my office? I'm sure your cousin, Ryan was the last person I saw in the office before I became unconscious. How did you get in?

I'm sure only Ryan had the key to my office, but how did you end up being the last person to leave the office before me? But what's really weird, someone has partially gotten rid of todays incident on my CCTV... Once I woke up, to soon realising that Ryan was gone, I checked my CCTV, and that was the only clip I found.. So, do you have something you would like to tell me? "

Curse rich people and their CCTV's.. I had just solved one problem, and yet another popped up right away?! Was it due to my double identity? Or a curse?

But, there was only one thing going on in my head and that was, " WHAT THE HECK AM I SUPPOSE TO ANSWER?! "
