Time matters

Dylan kept on moving; he didn't stop. While moving, he calculated the number of steps, counting every second so that he wouldn't lose his mind. Dylan was a very bright boy in his hometown. In fact, he was the brightest among all other children his age and most adults. What he was known for was his very good skill in mathematics, both academically and in his daily activities.

As he walked, he counted in sets. Each time he reached "1000 seconds" he would place them in "T1---- T2", Whenever he reached "T100" he would place the 100 sets of "T1" into "S1" and the next would be "S2".

Dylan kept this up, as he didn't know how time worked in this place. There was nothing he could understand; all he could do was count each second by his steps. He kept this up until "S9", That's nine different sets of "T100", He then fell to his knees and wept because it seemed as though he wasn't moving at all; it seemed as if he was still looking at the horizon in the very same distance as he saw before.

Dylan then decided to count how many days it is estimated he has been in this unknown place without being thirsty, hungry, sleepy, or tied.

He used the set count he came up with to count his seconds.

each count being "a single second", "T1" being a thousand seconds, "T100" Being 100,000 seconds, he then remembered that he had placed each "T100." He got into "S-singular-digits" that is, each time he got a "T100" he would place it in "S1, S2, S3,... S9".

So he calculated all "S9" sets and discovered that he had been there for 900,000 seconds, wandering aimlessly. He then converted those 900,000 seconds to minutes by dividing them by 60, giving him 15,000 minutes. He was terrified of the final result, and his heart began to pound so hard.

He then converted these 15,000 minutes to hours by dividing them by 60 and getting 250 hours; he converted the 250 hours to days by dividing them by 24 and getting a 10-day estimate. He had been wandering this place aimlessly for more than 10 days and never noticed it.

"Oh no, no, no, no, this is impossible."

Because it didn't feel like an hour had passed him by, all he knew was that he was moving toward the end of the horizon but still couldn't reach it.

He stopped moving for a period of time, sitting on the floor and looking up into the pitch-black sky, asking God why he had forsaken him.

1000 seconds= T1

T100 = 100k seconds= S1
