Using her cell phone, Sang Tian captured the on-going scene in front of her while making sure that she remained hidden behind the door of the hotel room where her boyfriend of one and a half years was very aggressively and passionately making out with the middle aged director of the hospital that both of them worked.

Sang Tian, or Dr. Sang Tian as she prefers, worked in the MedCARE Hospital and Medical University. A second year resident general surgeon, Sang Tian had been in a relationship with her senior at the hospital, Li Si Han who is a general surgeon and professor at the same hospital.

It wasn't a love at first sight, she began liking him gradually for he was always so kind and admirable and taught her with so much patience. It wasn't that Li Si Han did not have any flaws, she just liked him how despite his flaws, she accepted him with everything that made him the person he was and they were happy together until the last few weeks.

It started after the new year's celebrations at the hospital. Gathered in the common room, the hospital staff had planned on having dinner together to celebrate the new year when Sang Tian noticed how skittish Li Si Han was acting. At first, she thought that it was probably because of his upcoming surgery but then, on multiple occasions, she found him in a little compromising situation, multiple times, with the new director on the hospital board.

A middle aged woman named Alina Chen.

Sang Tian was neither stupid nor she was naive to believe all the ridiculous and random excuses that Li Si Han came up with to justify his being in such awkward positions and situations with Alina. She had her doubts but had no evidence to make sure that all of this was not a misunderstanding.

That's why, whenever Li Si Han was busy with surgery or was not paying attention, Sang Tian would often look for clues to prove that her doubts were not baseless. She was proven correct when she found a series of flirty messages and numerous dirty pictures on Li Si Han's cell phone.

The said messages and pictures along with a few vomit inducing voicemails were sent to her boyfriend by none other than Alina Chen. And surprise, surprise! Li Si Han responded with his own awkwardly flirty and cringe worthy messages and some dirty pictures of his own.

Oh, sheesh!

'I need to cleanse my eyes after seeing this!' she had thought back then when she saw those messages and pictures and she was thinking the same right now as she stood behind the door, recording her soon to be ex boyfriend having sex with the director lady.

After gathering enough proof of his infidelity, Sang Tian decided that it was time to confront the cheating bastard and the cougar. Saving the video on her phone, Sang Tian sent the video to her friends' group before putting it in her purse and entering the hotel room.

The clacking sound of her heels halted the over energized sex bunnies midway and the shock of seeing her in the room made Li Si Han slip on his trousers and fall flat on his face.

'Ouch! That had to hurt.' thought Sang Tian as Li Si Han let out a loud wince but stood up as fast as he could and immediately pulled up his trousers. Buttoning them up, he came to stand in from of her trying his best to explain while Alina remained seated on the bed and made no move to cover herself up.

She was instead looking at her in a challenging way, as if telling her that she had won at something. Sang Tian tilted her head and stared back at Alina like a curious cat. She wondered what it was that made Alina look so proud and haughty in this situation. Was cheating on your spouse with someone else's boyfriend a thing to be proud of?

But at the moment, Alina looked as if she had she had won a lottery by getting Li Si Han in bed with her.

It was hilarious and Sang Tian could not stop herself from chuckling. Evidently, Alina was not expecting this reaction from her for it made the cocky smirk on her face falter a little but she masked it up quickly.

Sang Tian rolled her eyes at shifted her attention to her soon to be ex who was struggling to zip up his trousers because of his hard appendage and was fumbling excuses trying to make her understand why he did what he did.

"Sang Tian, this is not what it seems like. Just let me –" 

She was in no mood to listen to any of his ridiculous explanations especially when they started with the age old 'this is not what it seems like' phrase. Angered, Sang Tian did not let Li Si Han complete his sentence and pulled her leg back before kicking him hard in the balls.

"Aarrrggghh!" Li Si Han fell down on the floor again with a sharp cry while seeing her react so violently, Alina paled a little bit.

Ignoring Li Si Han writhing in pain, Sang Tian took out her cell phone and played the video that she had just captured, "You lay a finger on me and this video will be sent on the doctors & the nurses' group chat as well and soon you two will become famous!" she exclaimed in warning before moving closer.

"Sang Tian!" Li Si Han managed to say her name through his pain but she did not stop. 

She picked up all of their clothes with one hand while holding her cell phone with her as the video continued to play. She took out the money and card from their wallets and put them in her pocket before grabbing their cell phones. Sang Tian then threw everything that she had collected out of the window and 5 floors down.

"You!" Li Si Han stood up and was barging towards her but Sang Tian raised her leg in time to kick him in the same place again.

"Don't you dare!" Sang Tian huffed in anger and slapped him hard before leaving the room. The last thing that she saw while leaving was Alina stumbling down the bed and leaning over Li Si Han to check on him.

Sang Tian was furious that Li Si Han not only cheated on her but he also had the audacity to behave as if what he did was not wrong. Her heels clacked against the polished marble floor as she walked towards the elevator, eyes rimmed red and nostrils flaring in anger. With arms crossed in front of her chest, she waited for the elevator to arrive. She did not have to wait for long as within seconds the elevator door opened up.

Stepping inside the elevator, Sang Tian paid no heed to the man who was already there in the elevator. She leaned against the cold wall of the elevator and tried to calm herself. Her eyes grew misty as she recalled the happy moments that she had spent with Li Si Han. It hurt that he chose to cheat on her and destroyed their relationship in the worst possible way.

"Listen, my accounts have been frozen and I do not have cash on me. I need you to lend me some money."

Sang Tian turned her head sideways to look at the man who was talking to someone on phone. He was dressed casually in a pair of sweatpants and a plain t-shirt but even those simplest of clothes looked quite nice on him.

Sang Tian took out the cash that she had taken out from Li Si Han and Alina's wallets and offered the bills to the man, "Here, take them."

The man glanced at the crushed up currency notes in her hand before looking at her, "Ah! Don't worry, you won't have to return them to me. Just take it." 

Sang Tian did not wait for the man to respond and stuffed the notes in his hand. She gave him a slight smile before turning away while the man stood still, staring at the money notes in his hand.

It was the sound of the elevator reaching its destination that brought the man out of his thoughts but before he could stop Sang Tian, she had already walked away. As the elevator door began to close, the man's lips slowly curved upwards in a smile.

"Huh?" he muttered to himself while clutching the notes of money in his hand, "Interesting." he chuckled and shook his head while pressing on the button to open the elevator doors. He stepped out and looked around for the woman who had just lent him some money but could not spot her.

He was about to put the notes in his pocket when his cell phone rang. It was a call from his best friend with whom he was talking just a few minutes ago until he met this nice lady who lent him some money without even asking to be repaid.

"Hello." he answered the call.

"Dude, what happened? Why did you stop talking suddenly? And was that a lady's voice that I heard?" asked his best friend. The last question was especially asked in a teasing tone.

"It's nothing."
