A black SUV sat beside the road, I stopped the taxi, paid the man and ran to the SUV. Jacob opened the door for me and got in front.

"You're late. Two minutes late" Jason displeased voice was the first scolding words I got.

"I forgot" I huffed lightly.

"I've been occupied"

"Can we leave now?"

"I thought you said only Maverick would be here, why is Jacob also tagging along?"
