<fourteen years later>

i was sitting at the far end of the table away from the family as my father was of course non-existent because im so lucky and the only one i actually cared for lelouch was gone as father had gotten rid of him so the day after he vanished i began planning and then the day came where i remembered my ship and mobile suit and i really began planning when i turned ten i was sent on my first mission i was to lead some troops to put down a rebellion that was causing my older sister some issues why was i sent on that mission simple i was a better battle commander than she was as i was as smart as lelouch and smarter than schneizel go me it took me two hours to win that battle and i laughed hysterically when i got to tell my OLDER sister what to do and the next year after my first mission i was taught how to pilot my own knightmare frame but thanks to the mobile suit i wished for i already knew how to pilot a 7th generation knightmare frame thanks again to the shinkiro cockpit of my mobile suit i grew better than her in that aspect too and i went a step further and a year after that when i was twelve i designed and oversaw building my personal knightmare frame which took about six months until my mobile suit is needed i decided to name my knightmare Arthur keeping with the medieval theme

"your highness you are requested to join princess Cornelia for lunch" a butler walked up to me and said

"what does she need now" i said annoyed as this wasn't the first time she bugged me i got up to go see what she needed with my katana at my left side hip and my revolver at my right side hip as i always carried both weapons i thought revolvers were the perfect ranged weapon and i thought the Japanese fighting style was the smartest as instead of being constantly pounded on you could just dodge and skip all of that nonsense

"yes Cornelia what do you need this time" i said not bothering to hide my annoyance

"were you busy" she asked

"fortunately no i was only doing what i always do when i am not busy being bothered by either you or a knight of the round, since lelouches death, read" i said i knew he was alive but everyone else thinks he's dead so i just pretended to think the same

"you know it's funny you aren't a part of the knight of the round although you could be your not and yet your knightmare frames name is Arthur and i know you mean king Arthur" she said

"i designed and built it i get to name it as i wish" i said

"alright alright i didn't ask for you just to argue i asked for you because i think you need to name your knight" she said

"why" i asked

"because as a royal prince you could very well be targeted" she said surprised she had to bring it up when she knew her brother was overall smarter than her

"are you saying i cant take care of myself" i asked

"if i were to say yes i would also be saying i cant take care of myself and we both know that's false but what i am saying is mistakes happen" she said i sighed

"alright this is what i will do are you listening because it will be your responsibility since its your idea" i said she nodded

"you will host a tournament for all the candidates to volunteer and you will host it i will judge the finalists myself as personality is also key but you will judge all the way up to the quarter finals as well as host the tournament yourself and whoever wins i will make my knight deal" i said

"deal" she said knowing full well this was the best she would get to an agreement from her brother

"now i get to start designing a rough draft of a knightmare for whoever becomes my knight" i said before walking back to avalon manor which i again designed and built myself i went straight for my lab and began drawing blueprints to the my knights knightmare frame
