"Wait... Dad? Is this old man the super amazing pilot of that golden flashy Gundam?!" Dragneel exclaimed suddenly while abruptly standing up with wide eyes as he glanced back and forth from his dad to this seemingly energetic 'old' man.

Dragneel might see Master Asia as an old man but in truth, he is just a middle-aged man right now, he doesn't even have white hair right now, just a few grey ones.

It's just because Dragneel is too young that he sees someone of Master Asia's age as someone old.
