The journey of AA and the others towards the hidden island base was very smooth because of the multiple stealth systems that AA equipped on the Quinjet that they used.

The Quinjet landed just beside the hidden mansion, an open space that was made after because of the creation of the Quinjet itself, the open space is hidden by the forest too like the mansion.

"Hey CC! This is where we stayed after we got away before, on that Island incident, you know, that one from a few years ago?" Marianne said as they got off the Quinjet and saw the mansion.

"Really? I did not expect that there would be something like this here." CC said while observing the mansion more carefully.

"It's AA, he made all of this! Hehehe..." Marianne said in a very proud tone while also telling CC the story of the things that happened at that time with more details as they got inside the mansion.

AA just looked at that with a smile though before taking Nunnally from Marianne's clutches.

"Alright, we can rest here for a day before going.

Our next journey will take a day or two so be prepared to be bored or something." AA said to the two ladies before putting his attention to Nunnally. "What about you, little Nunnally?

Are you hungry?

Uncle will cook you something if so.

Or maybe you are bored?

We can go watch cartoons too if you want."

AA and Nunnally quickly got comfortable in the mansion while CC and Marianne just continued talking to each other while relaxing they even had a bath together.

AA, CC, and Marianne are currently watching TV, the Emperor's press conference had just finished, so they took some moments to stay silent and start thinking about things.

Nunnally is already asleep much earlier as it is already midnight now.

The broadcast of the press conference is not live though, the conference happened much earlier and they had just gotten to watch it now as it was repeated again and again on TV.

Charles's response is very quick and almost quite the same as they had expected.

Charles Condemned every enemy that Britannia had and accused them of killing the Empress and her daughter.

While AA was labeled as missing, his photo was even posted on the internet together with some important information about him, especially about him being the chief scientist and the genius who advanced the Knightmare frame technology of the Britannian empire almost single-handedly.

Charles seems to want everyone to look for AA alive so that he would not have anywhere to go while making sure that no one would accidentally kill him and find out about the secret of geass.

This missing notice will also make sure that Britannia would be the first one to be notified if AA is ever seen based on the amount of bounty put on any information relating to AA's location.

Making Marianne be seen as dead is for making sure that they would not be able to have any sway in case they thought of organizing Britannian people and supporters of Marianne to rebel against the emperor, this will also make it so that it would be okay for them to semi openly look for Marianne and Nunnally and then kill the two or have them used against AA.

Charles already thought that AA would be prepared for something like a fallout between them but he just did not expect that he would prepare this much.

He had his intelligence department scouring AA's mansion for a whole day until now but his subordinates still find some hidden things here and there inside the mansion.

It's like the whole mansion is filled with hidden compartments and other stuff like that.

Charles even felt doubtful of his character assessment for AA, as AA really did not show any signs of paranoia.

AA might have shown that he is a smart genius and he did not show any cunning.

Charles can't also attribute it to Marianne as he knows her character well enough because he would not have given the position of empress to Marianne if he did not.

Meanwhile, VV on the other hand is currently having a field day in the geass order's headquarters he is now the master of this place and everyone in the order is his subordinate so he is having a really good mood, VV's 'right-hand man', too, is having a great mood as his bootlicking, groveling, and kneeling are finally paying off.

The only problem is, that there are already others that got into doing the same thing as him, ingratiating themselves to VV to have more opportunities.

All the scientists got heavily favored more though, especially since Charles and VV really wanted to make sure that the research goes smoothly now that they have AA, after all.

Back to AA and the two ladies.

"That Charles is really something, he did the so-called many birds with one stone in a single conference.

He just had to speak and he already got everything more controlled.

Or so he thought.

Hahaha!

He does not know that this kind of thing would not really affect us very much.

It is fortunate that Charles is such an excellent emperor, very utilitarian and he seriously considers the important things for an emperor and does things in an imperial way.
