Luckily Banni got the job, she could now leave the house and go to work every morning. She was leaving for work the next morning when Zeh offered to give her a drive.
"What's up with you, where are you going?" Zeh asked.
"I'm not going your way." She replied. She wore a lovely blue office wear and she looked really good in the gown.
"You look good." He complimented.
"I know I do" she replied.
"What's the big deal in just being appreciative?" He asked.
"Zeh love, I'm not going your way, so can you please move away." She replied.
"Zeh love? I wish you really meant that." He said smiling.
He was standing in front of her on the stair case but then he gently moved away.
Banni kept her gaze on him.
"I'll drop you off." He said like he was commanding. He gently took her hands and they walked down the stair case.
"Zeh what are you doing?" She questioned but he didn't let her go.
"Zeh" Kalz called out and they halted.
"What's up with the both of you?" Kalz asked.
"We're going somewhere." Zeh replied.
"With her?"
"Yeah!"
"Alright" he said looking at them more keenly. "And why are you holding her hands?" He asked.
"Kalz, have you got something to say?" Zeh asked.
"No, not really, you guys can carry on." Kalz said.
Zeh stared at him for a while and then left while still holding Banni's hand as she walked behind him. They got in to the car and he drove off.
"Where are you headed?" He asked.
"Why asking?"
"Why else will I be asking? So I could drop you off." He replied.
"My work place." She replied.
"Where is that?" He asked. "I didn't know you started working by the way." He added. She stared at him for a while then fixed her face forward.
"No. 12 Ninoh street. I'll show you." She replied.
"Alright" he said as he nodded his head in agreement.
"Why did you get a job?" He asked.
"Because I was tired of staying home all day."
"What's your new job about?"
"I'm an assistant editor, it's a magazine company." She replied.
"Do you love the job?" He asked.
"Yeah, I'm good with it, I don't want to stay home jobless and I want to get paid for working." She replied.
"Oh, I get it now, is home that boring?" He asked he turned to take a quick look at her because he was driving.
"Yeah, it is." She replied.
"Alright then, all the best at your new work place." He said. "Thanks" she replied.
In no time, Zeh got Banni to her work place.
"I'll come pick you up later in the evening." He said as she was about to open the door of the car to leave. Banni stared at him for a moment.
"No, thank.....
"I'll call you to know when you're done." He interrupted.
"I'll be dismissing really late, so please don't wait and just go home." She replied.
"Don't worry, I'm not complaining, let me have your phone contact." He requested but she didn't budge, she just kept staring at him and thinking "what does he really want?"
"I'm insisting." He said.
She gently reached for her phone in her bag and handed it over to him and he dialed his contact on her phone. After exchanging contact she quietly left the car as Zeh waved her goodbye.

Kalz and Zarah reconciled later on that day, she decides to forgive Kalz because she also felt guilty about all that has happened.
"Let's just leave everything that happened in the past, I really don't want to talk about them again." She said.
"Thanks alot Zarah, thanks for forgiving me, you're such a sweetheart." He said smiling. "I promise I'll give up drinking." He said as he winked at her.
"Please do" she replied.
"Yeah, sure, you know I love you so much." He said but she kept a straight face.
"Zarah, please, come on, give me a broad smile." He said. "Pleeeaasseeee" he pleaded and she managed to smile.
"Alright, where would you love to go, just name it, I'll take you were ever." He said trying to cheer her up.
"Leave me alone, I don't want to go anywhere." She replied.
"Zarah, I know you well, you love outings." He said smiling. "Come on, where would you love to go?' he asked again as he started to come closer to her and then held her waist.
"Mmmmmm, maybe..."
"Maybe what?" He asked with a deeper voice as he started to kiss her lower lips. He kissed it for a while and then stopped.
"Maybe, let's go see a movie." She replied.
"Alright then, that would be nice, let me get my car keys" he said as he gently excused his hands from her waist and then left.
