It was a lose!!!

After work that evening, Banni walked out of her office with Gina, they saw Zeh packed just infront of there workplace.

"Is that not Zeh?" Gina asked. "That's him" Banni replied. "Maybe I should leave you guys alone, take care." Gina said as she left quietly and only waved Zeh while Zeh returned the wave too.

"Do you always have to do this?" Banni asked.

"I enjoy doing it, I missed you so much." Zeh said.

"Let's not meet at night again, I really don't want to make my life more stressful than it is already.

"Okay, I'll just drop you at home, nothing else." Zeh promised.

"Thanks, but no." Banni said as she left.

"Banni please come on, what happened all of a sudden that you already hate the sight of me?" Zeh asked but Banni fell to the ground. She tried getting up but she was in serious pains. Zeh ran to her and tried helping her get up, her clothe was a bit stained with blood.

"Banni? Why would you be on your period when you are pregnant?" Zeh asked.

"How, that's not true." She looked down and she was already having blood drip from her clothe.

"Oh my God, what's going on?" She asked as she gently touched her clothe. Zeh carried her into his car and drove her to a hospital near by.

Zeh waited for her in the hospital, he needed to know how she's doing before he leaves. When the nurse came out, he asked her about Banni but she didn't respond. A doctor came out too and he rushed over to him.

"How is she doing?"

"She's alright, thank God her womb wasn't damaged" the doctor said. "Oh my!! Thank God" Zeh said with a heavy breath,. "I was so scared."

"But unfortunately, she lost the baby." The doctor said.

"What do you mean? She lost the baby?" Zeh asked.

"I'm sorry" the doctor said and quietly left.

Zeh rushed in to see Banni, she was already up and was crying. "Banni are you alright?" Zeh asked but she didn't respond.

"How am I supposed to console you? Please stop crying" Zeh said almost sobbing.

"The worst things keep happening." Banni said as she cried.

"It's fine, at least, you're okay, so please don't make yourself worse by crying so much." Zeh said.

"I'll call Kalz" Zeh said and stood up to leave. "No, don't worry, I already told a nurse to call him, I'm sure he is already on his way here." Banni said.

"Alright then, let me get you something to eat." Zeh said and left quietly.

In no time Kalz was already there, he rushed into the ward to see Banni.

"Banni how did this happen again? What of my baby?" Kalz asked but Banni didn't respond.

"Are you ignoring me after endangering your self? I hope nothing happened to my child, you better speak up." Kalz scolded. A nurse immediately rushed in.

"Please sir, the patient is not in the right state of mind for this yelling."

"And who are you to lecture me? Do you want to loose your job?" Kalz asked.

"I'm sorry sir" the nurse responded and gently left the room.

"Banni are you still not going to say anything? How is my baby doing? Hope my baby is still kicking?" He asked like someone who has gone nuts. Zeh opened the door and came in.

"Zeh" he called out, he looked at his hand and saw he was carrying a flask of food. "oh you already got your love something to eat, did she tell you about my baby?" Kalz asked.

"Kalz, take it easy on her please, Banni is also going through alot."

"She's the one who's always getting herself in trouble, so why should I be bothered about her? How is my baby? Why isn't anyone answering?" Kalz shouted.

"She lost the baby." Zeh said coldly.

"She what?" Kalz shouted as he turned to Banni and pulled her up so she could sit on the bed. Zeh rushed to him and pulled him away. "Take it easy with her." Zeh said. "She's also going through alot right now." Kalz didn't say a word, he left to see the doctor.

"Are you alright?" Zeh asked. "Mmmm" Banni responded. "It's really killing me to see you like this." Zeh said. "Here, I got you food, the doctor also said you need it to recoporate." Zeh said as he offered the flask to her. Banni gently took it and got set to feed herself. "Thank you." She said.

"Do you want me to feed you?" Zeh asked. "No, I'm alright, Kalz might come in." Banni replied.

"What did the doctor say was the cause of my misfortune?" She asked Zeh.

"Come on, don't think about that."

"I have to" she swiftly responded.

"You had a poisoned food, what was it you ate?" Zeh asked.

"Nothing serious." She said and then suddenly had a flash back of Zarah treating her to a meal. "Oh, I remember, Zarah came by to treat me to a meal, she said it was her way of apologizing." Banni said.

"You are with someone who wishes you dead? Are you dumb?" Zeh asked.

"She insisted, she said it was her way of making up with me."

"Maybe she did poison the meal." Zeh said.

"She said something like that, but she said it was just a joke." Banni explained.

"She might have meant it." Zeh said. "Did you take anything else?" He asked. "No" she replied. "Not even before going to work in the morning."

"It's clear it's the food she gave you, and the doctor said your meal contained a terrible substance." Zeh explained.

"I'm tired of all of these, I don't even want her man for God sake." Banni said.

"It's alright dearie, it's gonna be a story to tell soon." Zeh said trying to comfort her.
