The first shot of tequila he drank was hard to swallow. Its bitterness and flaming sensation on his throat were uncomfortable. But after overcoming his fifth shot, the hard liquor was like water to his mouth. Pouring the tequila on the glass and devouring it easily with one gulp.
"You know, it's not fun to drink alone," a woman in a red flaming dress remarked, noticing him sitting alone at the corner of the club.
"I'm not drinking to have fun," he answered and took another shot of the liquor.
"I could be a good drinking buddy, Mr. Long Li Jun," the woman offered, sitting beside him without invitation.
"Are you a fan? I'm sorry to be rude but I'm in the mood to give you an autograph," he dismissed the woman batting her eyes on him.
With the way the lady tried to get near, he knew she wanted to flirt with him but his mind was filled with thoughts of only one woman.
