[HOW DID A BIRD SAVED MY LIFE]

"Azus." I said, just repeating the name that Lora gave me, and in a blink of an eye, a majestic bird appear in the room. At first I thought someone on a light or something, but in just seconds what I thought to be light turned out to be a white big dove.

It was bigger than any normal dove I've ever seen, in about four to five times. It had a leave in it beak and I noticed it claws were holding on to something. I could smell the leave and it felt familiar to me. I became happy upon seeing the dove even though I had not seen it before.

"Azus, is that you? what's that in your claws." I asked and it peak on the back of my hand that was resting on the desk.

I turned my palm and it placed the leave in it, I took the leave and brought it close to my nose and smelled it again. I opened my palm for the dove again and it placed what it was holding with it claws in it. A small piece of paper rolled and tied with a golden thread fell in my palm.

I opened the paper and on it was some writing in a language i didn't understand, I turned it over for the ladies to see and asked, " Can any of you read this, I don't understand the language." I said, earning a surprise look from the ladies.

"Your Highness, it's the same language this book is written in, and you are the only one in this palace who can read it." Lora said with a surprise look.

"Mum, I think it's from that strange man, maybe it's a message he wants you to know." Chesa said happily.

" But how can I read it when I don't understand the language." I asked and place the paper on the book, suddenly, the book flip on it own to a page. The last five paragraph of chapter thirty-seven, just like the thread that was used to tie the paper, a golden colored words pop out boldly.

"ETERNAL ROMANCE." I read. I didn't know how I could read the words in the book but not on the paper, even though they were written in the same language. I took a writing stick and underline the words on the paper and compered it to the once in the book alphabet by alphabet.

I started smiling when I realized it was the same words, the only difference was that the words was mixed up on the paper and MY was added to it. I placed the paper in the book on the same page and closed it. I turned to the dove and pat it head, asking in my head if the stranger gave him the paper.

As if it could read my mind or hear my thoughts, the dove peek on my hand again and I got confused by what it meant. "Mum what did you ask him, he just said yes." I heard Chesa saying, knowing I didn't understand what the dove meant.

"I think we should retire for the day, we can continue talking tomorrow." I said and stoop up from the seat as I lifted Azus, and the ladies did so too. Just as they got up, the seat they sat on disappeared the same way it appeared in the beginning, getting me shock again.

I was escorted back to the room I waked up in, and the ladies help me to get ready for bed. As they were leaving the room, I saw a huge bird standing at the window sill looking at me.

"who's the owner of this bird?" I asked, thinking everything in this new world I found myself in belongs to someone.

"Mum even we don't know who it belongs to, but I remember it saving your life months ego." Chesa said with a smile.

" How did a bird saved my life, what happened to me? I asked with shock written on my face. The ladies came back and sat on my bed to explain better.

"Your Highness, you were once attack by a dark force, I think it was three months after you went into comma. No physician could save you, and we all thought you were dieing." Lucia said.

"And this bird came in the room one day flapping it wings over you, it dropped something into your mouth after a while and covered your face with it wings." Chesa said, smiling from ear to ear, using her hand to show what the bird did.

" It stayed like that till the next morning and no one could make it leave. But when day break, it went out on it own, and since then it's been coming and going when ever it wants." Lora added.

I became happy and turn to the bird and asked, " who are you, and why did you saved me?" as if it could understand me, it flew over to my side and stay on the small table beside the bed.

Looking at it closely I noticed it wasn't just any bird, it was an eagle, a big one as that. I pat it head and asked "what's your name?" The eagle lifted it head showing me it neck. There was a golden stone pendant on its neck and when I checked the back of it, I saw Gideon writing there.

"Gideon, is that your name?" I asked and it peak on my hand twice. " Do I know you and your owner?" I asked and it peak on my hand twice again. "I want to meet your owner so I can thank him, will you help me?" I asked thinking it will answer me again, but it just flew away.

I excused the ladies and they went to have some rest in their respective rooms. But Chesa insisted on staying with me till I sleep before she goes but she slept off in minute after. "My eternal love." I muttered in low tone and covered myself with the white quilt on the bed. Azus stayed at the end of the bed and we all drifted off to sleep.

I waked up the next day feeling refreshed, it was as if I had enough energy to carry ten people at once. I got out of bed and went straight to the window, thinking I might see something out there. I could see the entirety of the kingdom from the side I was standing.

"Isn't it beautiful?" I heard Chesa's hoarse voice asking.

" It's really beautiful. Nothing I've seen before." I answered truthfully, forgetting my new life.

" I noticed you didn't believe me when I said you are the goddess of earth. Why don't we prove it now?" Chesa said with a childish smile.

" How are we going to do that?" I asked.

"Not we, just you. Try commanding the earth to do something for you, remember, it has to be sincerely from your heart." Chesa said strictly.

I stayed there for a while not sure what to do or even how to command the earth, and I heard Chesa speaking again. " For now you can make it like a wish, either by saying it out loud or in your mind, just try it."

I looked around to see if I could see something that I like, so I could ask the earth to get it for me but nothing. I turned around and said what was in my mind and heart to Chesa. " I wish there was flowers everywhere in the palace, so I could command it to come, but I don't see any." And she widened her eyes.

" Mum! mum!! mum!!! watch out." She shouted and drag me off the window.

I turned around to see what was happening and to my surprise, the earth had lifted itself up all the way to the window, bringing with it all kinds of flowers it could carry, including my favorite flower, lilies.

" Wow, that's awesome, but how did I do that?" I asked and looked at myself, nothing had changed on me, so I didn't know how the earth got there. I stretched out my hands and picked up some flowers from it and when I saw it was enough I just said, "you can go back now." And it listened to me like an obedient child.

"I haven't seen you do anything like this before, it was really huge." Chesa said with her eyes wide open, and I could see how she was still panicking.

" Even I don't know how i did it, but if am going to be here, then I think I need to master the powers I have so I can handle it and won't make mistakes next time." I said and placed the flowers I took on a table near the window, just in time before Lora and Lucia come in.

" Your Highness you are awake, what happened here, and why is your hair.... Changing? Lora said pointing to my hair with a worried look.

I rushed to the bathroom to see it for myself in the mirror and the three ladies followed me. I was calm when I saw my hair that was turning to hanny gold from golden brown, it has always been like that and the only change I saw was the length, it was longer than before. But the ladies had worried look on their faces as if it was a big deal.

"May the gods of this land protect us all, if not non of us can stan what's coming." Lora said and we all turned to her direction.

"What do you mean by what coming?" I asked impatiently out of worry.

" Your Highness, can't you see it? Your hair is changing color. You know whenever it does, strange things happen. The war from which you saved the kingdom, was the last time your hair changed, so what now?" Lora asked, looking worried than ever.
