[ WHY DO I FEEL THIS WAY ]

Azura knew the journey back to the city of Kelvindor would take a whole day just like it did when they came, but she was prepared for it. She sat quietly in the carriage, with Lora and Chesa seated opposite her. Her body might be in the carriage, but her mind and soul was else where.

She had been thinking of the premonition she had about her destiny, trying to figure out what it actually meant. She had come to Ambaf city with the desire to find a way to get back to the life she remembers, but what she got was nothing like it.

Just like how her entourage was welcomed by the nobles and commoners into the city, she received a number of goodbyes from them as well. Her entourage was even escorted to the outskirts of the city by the military officials in the command of the Duke, Christof Ofore-Vaka.

Currently, her entourage was heading towards the forest, which served as the boundaries between the two cities. The same one they had their rest days ago. It was almost midday and the members of her entourage prayed to be at the clearing in the middle of the forest before the sun goes up.

Azura stared blankly at the passing bushes as she remembered her step mother's last words, before they left the city of Ambaf. "Do not misuse the power you have. listen to your instincts if you don't know what to do. Your decision will affect those around you, and likewise there's. Be the Azura that you are." Lady Douglacia had said.

She closed her eyes to reminisce on everything that transpired in the city, and what she was to make out of it. Suddenly, the carriage came to a holt, bringing her out of her many thoughts. She poked her head out the window and to her dismayed, her entourage had stopped at the same spot in the forest.

"Your Majesty, I think we'll be resting here for a while." Lora said. She saw how unpleased Azura was, and knew she had to calm her down.

"Can't we just go ahead?" Azura asked in a worried tone. For some unknown reasons, she didn't want to stay in the forest for another minutes, much less the hour they'll have to spend.

"Your Majesty, the horses have to be feed, and the men who are traveling with us would also want to eat something." Lora tried to reason with her.

Azura had no other choice than to step out of her carriage, since she didn't want her people to starve. She looked around and noticed the place was still the same as they left it. The single tent was still where it was, and the fire was still alive as it was. She wondered if Marcus had not left and waited for her, but there was no sign of him.

Unwillingly, Azura ordered her men to have an hour rest, before their journey continue. She made to enter the tent with Chesa, and her ladies in waiting stayed back to get something for her to eat, but she wished she hadn't thought of doing so.

Backwards, she stepped, and then again, and again until she was finally out of the tent completely. "Chesa go to Lora." She instructed and Chesa did as she said. It was unusual for Chesa to run in her mother's presence without being scolded, so those who saw her running turned to the direction of the tent, only to be shock with what they saw.

"Which fool dears to attack their queen in broad daylight, and that too in their presence?" Many of the men thought.

Azura stayed in front of the tent with her head held up by a sword, which was in the outstretched hand of a man in a long black robe. His face was half covered with a black clothe, and one of his dark eyes was partially cover with his shoulder length black hair.

The knight readied their swords to fight, even though they knew their queen was more than enough to handle the man in front of her. "What do you want?" Azura asked as she gazed into the eyes of the man with no sign of fear. She wondered who he could be and why he pointed a sword to her throat.

The man didn't respond to her question, but instead, he whistle a sound and in no time, many other men dressed like him appeared from the bushes. They surrounded Azura's men from all sides, with swords in their hands, ready to fight.

If Azura's men were sure the man in front of her will die, now they were convinced they might all perish along with the unknown men. They readied themselves to fight the men, but they also watched out for what their queen may do, knowing how Azura's temper was.

Azura held her breath and took in deep breath to calm herself. She did not intend to hurt anyone, but if the man in front of her do not explain himself or let her be, then she wouldn't mind using the powers in her. After all she was living as queen Azura, and she had to let them know she is not to be taken lightly.

"What do you want?" She asked again, a bit louder this time.

"Must I tell you? Can't you see?" The man said. He started laughing mockingly, knowing he had the upper hand.

Azura opened her palms to face the ground and suddenly, the earth beneath them started shaking. She had expected the man to be scared, but he laughed even more, not showing any signs of fear. "Do you really want to do this? all of us will die you know?" The man asked as he kept laughing and some of his men joined him.

The earth got back to it stable form and everyone thought that was it. "You dear mock the queen of this kingdom?" Azura asked and before she could finish her statement, the earth beneath the man sank in. He was fast to jump off and step on another place, but Azura didn't end it there.

She lifted her hands and the wine blew along with her moves, bringing with it a mass of sand. Like a dancer, she swing her hands and body, directing the mass wind to the men in black robe. Some of her men were affected, but not as much as the ones she had targeted.

She touched the ground and the earth beneath them moved in a fast motion, which caused almost everyone to fall. She hit the ground hard and the part where the men in black robe stand, sunk in with some of them sinking along with it. The once who got the chance to escape their death, started fighting with Azura's knight to save themselves.

everyone including Azura's ladies in waiting, were in a fight with at least one person, with most of her knight fighting two on one. The men in black robes were more than her men and Azura knew she had to do something before her men get defeated.

Azura turned to see Chesa helping out in the fight, by making things appear before the black robe men to destruct them. "Chesa stay back, get to the carriage." she shouted and Chesa did as told. Azura closed her eyes and convinced herself she could use every single power in her, but before she could open them, the man held her by the neck.

She stamped her feet to the ground and it open up, ready to swallow the man. Thankfully, the man was able to climb up with the help of his sword, and when he was finally on a safer ground, he attempt to attack Azura again. Azura got angry with his actions, she didn't like the fact that the man was trying to fight her from behind and unaware.

Suddenly, Azura's body became white as snow and an ice sword extended from her hand. She forth the man heads on, but since she was not good in sword art, she was defeated in no time. The man held her cold neck and pin her to a tree, ready to stab her, but the sudden hotness of his body destructed him.

He couldn't tell where it was coming from, but his body felt hot, especially the hand he used to hold Azura neck. He gazed into Azura's green eyes and he was sure he saw a red sparkle in them, but before he could react, he felt an unbearable hotness on his wrist.

"What the heck?" He shouted. In a hurry, he retreated his hand from Azura's neck, but it wouldn't stop burning. Yes, his hand was burning and it was moving up to his shoulder, but there was nothing like fire. He started running off and his men followed him, but Azura wouldn't let them go so they could attack her next time.

She unleashed the anger in her and with her outstretched hands, fire started burning everything in the direction the men took. Few seconds after, her body dropped to the floor and her ladies run to her side.

_________

Abesselom got startled in his sleep and opened his eyes at once. He felt like a part of him was taken away, and he knew where that part is. His red eyes glittered under the sunlight in agony, as he felt the pain of losing someone in his heart. He stood up from his bed and started pacing in his room as he couldn't take the pain anymore.

"Why do I feel this way? Is Azura alright?" He muttered to himself.

He looked at his chest and he could see it moving up and down, he couldn't believe how fast his heart was beating, but he knew it beat that way only for one person, Azura.

"I know that evil man might be there, but I have to go." He said and took his robe from the bed, which caused his pet to fall since it was sleeping on the robe, but before Gideon could say anything to him Abesselom disappeared.

"Where's he going at this time?" Gideon asked with worry.

_________

Abesselom appeared behind the bushes in the forest as Enoch, but seeing the situation on the grounds and the wounded men of Azura, he changed his appearance to that of the masked man and got closer. The knight who were still strong to fight got to there feet, ready to fight him, but seeing he was unarmed, they just watched to see what he'll do.

He ignored them and rushed to Azura when he saw her on Lora's lap, and surprisingly Lora was expecting him. "Why are you so late? See the condition she's in." Lora said angrily, letting go of the tears she had been holding in.

"Where's that king of yours?" Abesselom asked, ignoring Lora's question. He squat and checked Azura's pulse when he heard Lora talking.

" He was with us only on the first day. He came till here and left because the queen didn't want him to be here." Lora said in tears.

Abesselom looked around as if he was looking for something. "Where is her daughter." He asked impatiently.
