[ SHE SAVED THAT DEMON ]

Azura had no option than to disappear with Marcus. She felt an animosity between the owner of the fire-like red eyes and Marcus, and knew if one of them do not leave the throne room, something bad was bound to happen.

Disappearing with Marcos was not her choice, but leaving him in the throne room for the owner of the red eyes to destroy him as he wanted, was not an option. Since she could not take Marcos into his resident nor hers, they appeared behind the main Palace.

Marcus felt like he just returned from another world. He knew Azura could do wonders, but teleporting him through the underworld was something he didn't imagine. His hands were still stuck to his neck as if he didn't want to let go, but this time, it looked loose than it was earlier.

Azura helped him up after she stood by herself, and begin to walk away from him. Marcos followed her and persistently worked beside her, afraid of what might happen if he keeps spacing out.

Eyes widen as heads turned. It was a surprising sight for everyone in the palace, to see their Queen and King working together. It had been ages since they saw them like that, so seeing them like that was something they hadn't expected.

What non of them couldn't understand, was why Marcos was drenched in blood completely.They kept staring at the royals with wide opened eyes and different thought in mind, until they parted way in front of the main Palace.

Immediately Azura got out of her carriage, she walked straight to her study room with her ladies-in-waiting following her. She started going through her many books, and when her ladies enquired, she was looking for any book that could tell her who that SELOM was.

She gave up after a while of searching and not finding a single book with the name Selom on it, or had anything to say about Selom. Even Lora, who seem to know every history of the Celestial Kingdom, had no idea who Selom was. All she knew was what everybody else knows. Selom was 'The Devil'.

Azura knew no matter what it takes, she had to find out who Selom was, to know if he was the one summoning her to the emerse darkness, or someone was intentionally bringing them together. Whichever it was, she was ready to find out the truth now more than ever.

" I need to see him." She said to Lora.

"Who Your Majesty?" Lora asked, not knowing who Azura was talking about.

" The man I went to see the last time." Azura replied calmly after signaling her maids and the other ladies to leave the study room.

"Is it the one you said he was your husband in your other life Your Majesty?" Lora asked and Azura nodded to respond.

"But what for Your Majesty? It is very dangerous for you to keep seeing him, people might defame you when they see you with him." Lora said worriedly, but Azura wouldn't listen.

"There are some things I need to ask him. I asked him to find out about Marcos, but I haven't gotten my answer yet. I need to see him for that." Azura replied calmly but worry could be heard behind her voice.

" I will go with you Your Majesty. I can't let you go alone." Lora insisted.

"That's okay, but you know I can't see him with you there, so it will be just like it was the other time." Azura said friendly.

" I'm okay with that Your Majesty, but I won't leave you this time." Lora said with a serious face.

" But Lora...." Azura tried to ague.

"No Your Majesty, sorry but I won't listen to you this time. It is my duty to protect you as the Queen of this Kingdom, not to be with you as your friend. I'll be your friend when it's needed, but for now please let me be your lady in waiting." Lora said as she went on her knees and bowed her head.

Azura had no option than to give in to her demands. "It's okay Lora, we will be leaving early in the morning, so prepare" She said, smiling mischievously.

"Would you like to go with your carriage or your horse?" Lora asked respectfully as she got to her feet.

"Non of the two." Azura answered, still smiling mischievously.

"But how would you go then? I don't think we can walk that far." Lora asked.

"I just learned a new trick. I promise to show you tomorrow." Azura said and left the study room, not willing to answer any more of Lora's question.

Lora kept standing in the study room, thinking of what Azura said. She was not ready for any surprises, but had no choice than to wait. Whichever trick it was that her queen was talking about, she was ready to be with her, but she hoped it was nothing like how the masked man teleported her surprisingly.

Abesselom appeared in front of his Mansion looking furious. He could have teleported into his room directly instead of working to his room, but the anger within him wouldn't let him do so. He had to vent his anger on something, if not, his volcano-like anger wouldn't subside.

In front of his mansion where the many colours of beautiful flowers were planted, He stood and stared at the mountains, which he could see through the spaces between the branches of the many trees in the forest.

On top of the highest mountains, was the palace of Celestial Kingdom, where Azura stays. Flashes of images from the incident, which happened earlier at the palace came into his mind. And the part he hated to see most, was Azura vanishing with Marcos.

He forced his sight away from the mountains and gazed at the beautiful flowers, before entering his mansion. Immediately he stepped into his mansion, all the flowers caught fire and started burning drastically.

Gideon his pet, was a spectator of all these, and followed him inside when he saw how angry he was. "How many people did you kill today?" Gideon asked telepathically immediately he saw blood on Abesselom's hand, and how he kept pacing in his room angrily.

"Just two." Abesselom said with a smirk, as if it was nothing for him to kill two people in just a day.

"Do you want to go back to your original self? You know you've killed more than hundred people in just two days right?" Gideon asked telepathically. If Gideon was a human, you would've seen worry written on his face. He worried that Abesselom might go back to being the Devil that everybody knew him to be.

immediately Abesselom heard those words from his pet, every single lamp in the room went off, even the fireplace was turn off. This time Gideon had nothing like fear in him, all he felt was worry. If he could, he would've gone on his knees like how humans do to beg his master, so he wouldn't go back to being the devil as everybody say he was.

Even though Gideon knew he was the real devil, he knew there was some kindness in the heart of the man standing before him. That kindness was planted by a girl, now a woman, and he was turning into the devil again, all for this same woman.

Abesselom's eyes kept burning with fury, and the more it burn, the stronger the fire burnt the flowers outside his mansion. He stopped himself from hearing his pet's thought, and Gideon couldn't hear his either.

" I broke many rules because of her. I forth because of her. I killed because of her. And am even ready to kill myself all because of her. What else does she want?" Abesselom asked in frustration, but unfortunately, he couldn't hear Gideon answering him.

After a while of pacing and talking to himself, Abesselom sat on his bed and rested his head on his fist, with his elbow resting on his knees. He gave himself the chance to hear Gideon's thought, to know if his pet was still nagging him. But thankfully he was not.

"How come you are so angry with her? What did she do that caused you to burn the flowers you natured for years in her name?" Gideon asked immediately he felt he could communicate with his master.

"She saved that demon from me. Why wouldn't she just let me get rid of him?" Abesselom shouted angrily.

"What? How? I thought she couldn't use her powers properly." Gideon was happy to hear Azura stopped Abesselom from killing, but he was also scared what might happen if she used her emerse power improperly.

"Her stepmother might have thought her how to use her powers. She was able to defend herself and her entourage, before I got to the forest the other day. And today, she vanished with that man right before me. I don't even know how she did that." Abesselom said angrily.

" I think I need to go see her, maybe I'll find out how she did it." Gideon said and fled from the room, before Abesselom could say anything to stop him. Abesselom lay on his bed since he had nothing to do, but to rest his mind and calm his aching heart.

Marcus kept pacing in his room with a smirk playing on his list, until Pearler entered. He couldn't believe Azura actually saved him from harm, when all he wanted was to hurt her. Azura's actions was driving him crazy, and he was loving her more and more.

"What is making you so happy? I heard what happened and I didn't expect to see you this happy." Pearler asked when she noticed Marcus was not of his usual self.

"It's Azura. She's trying to drive me crazy. I think she's begining to have feelings for me." Marcus said proudly.

"Why do you think so?" Pearler asked, not believing what she just heard.

"Will you believe she's the one that saved me today? I'd be dead by now if not for her." Marcus said as he turned and held Pearler's shoulders.

" I think I have to use her feelings to my advantage. Prepare something delicious, she is to come for dinner at my place today. She never came before, so if she comes today, it means I'm right, and please be nice to her." He continue to speak but Pearler didn't say anything.

Pearler had no option than to go and prepare for Azura's arrival. She had done that severally before, but in all, Azura never showed up. She prayed it will be the same this time.

Don't worry Lora, I'll be having my dinner in here." Azura said immediately she saw Lora entering her room, and knew it was time for her dinner.

"Sorry Your Majesty, you will have to go for dinner at His Majesty's Palace. Your carriage is ready." Lora said with her head bowed.

" Why that far?" Azura asked. She was starving and couldn't wait to get her food. She intentionally skipped her afternoon meal, just to reach the book given to her by the masked man.

"His Majesty personally requested, since you haven't been there after the coma." Lora said, and Azura placed the book on a table and took the lead out.
