"I want that stuff in your hands." Ace pointed at the brown bag in Nathan's left hand after walking out of the district police office.
Nathan frowned, handing the brown nylon to the boy. He watched the boy yank the bag open. He took in the aroma before deciding whether to go gently or eat it while. He did neither as the sandwich was finished in three quick bites.
"Whoa, slow down buddy." Nathan chuckled as it went on deaf ears. A loud belch was heard and Nathan wasn't pleased.
"Weren't you thought manners?" Nathan asked with a sour face.
"I wasn't." Ace simply replied, shrugging.
Nathan could see the hurt in his eyes even if he acted nonchalant. "Look, I am sorry if I sound insensitive."
Ace flipped him off. "You are no different from your brother. Do you know how hard it was for him to trust me?"
