About the World...

In the distant world, history would happen as it had on Earth.

But in this world, some were blessed to use supernatural powers that can unleash both miracles and disasters upon the world.

As the world experienced its very own Industrial Age, technology would flourish while nations were still competing for power and domination over the others.

In the Western Peninsula, technology was so advanced that the countries would enjoy higher influence, standard of living, and military power than much of the rest of the world.

Technology and firepower had started to influence how wars and strife were won.

Science had grown so much that knowledge of magic had begun to be implemented alongside with systematic precision, it would become a study of its own.

Nowadays, they had to be careful, as any large-scale conflict between them would result in catastrophic losses.

And so, a life of careful balancing of a calculated geopolitical situation between the great powers had had to be the norm.

—However, a new uneasiness had started to stir.

People of different backgrounds and interests from all over the continent had started to become politically active.

Riots and unrest against the established powers were on the rise. They were dissatisfied; they wanted things to change.

They were starting to look upon the future.

In short, these political upheavals, the "Springtime of Nations", were going to kick-start a series of events that is thought to shake the entire continent.

To the people of the Victoria-era, the period was remembered as a time of progress and hope for the future. But it was also a period of rapid change and opression.
