Johanna smiled as the sunlight caught on the teardrop diamond engagement ring on her finger. She spread her fingers around the steering wheel, admiring how the light hit the gem at different angles.
Luke and Johanna were doing well. They'd learned to stop keeping secrets from one another, no matter how embarrassing or insecure it might make them, and it made a world of a difference.
