Chapter 68: Net
Luke hugged Johanna to his side and the smile she gave him blew his heart apart. The venue Dani and Greg had picked for their engagement party was beautiful, as was the love that was so clearly shared between not only the two of them, but everyone in attendance.
But none of it held a candle to his mate.
She looked gorgeous in her black halter top gown that had quickly become his favorite, due to the slit that ran up to her thigh. The opening gave him easy access—which he'd already taken advantage of before they left the house—and based on the way Johanna was looking at him, he'd be taking advantage of it again before they got home.
They approached Dani and Greg and exchanged hugs with them.
"Congratulations, you two!" Johanna said, nodding to Dani's slightly rounded belly and the diamond glittering on her finger.
Dani looked from her to Luke and smirked. "I'd say congratulations are in store for the two of you too. It's about damn time."
