Chapter 32: Taken
"There's something down here," Jason said as he moved to take the lead.
Daniella and Greg followed behind him, with Darius at the end.
"Jay, we have two minutes before we have to reconnect with the team," Greg said.
Jason nodded.
They continued walking and then reached another passageway with a single beam of light at the end. Jason took a step forward and Daniella's eyes widened as dread filled her entire body. Warning bells howled in her mind and she flew forward.
"Wait!" She pulled Jason back just as a metal click reverberated in the chamber.
"Daniella!" Greg reached for her, but it was too late.
Time slowed as she called on her connection to air. Daniella spread her arms wide, sending a large gust out and around her body a second before the wall exploded and everything went black.
