Alexander We Meet Again

Miller repeated this question several times in his head. He was trying to understand what Watson was saying. He wanted to become a Mutant, it was something Miller knew Watson hated so much. Although he didn't know why he hated Mutants so much till today. Whenever he tried asking, Watson would change the topic and if he asks again, Watson would reply with, "It's a family issue, I can't tell". There were so many things Miller didn't know about Watson. One was the fact he didn't know Watson's parents, he didn't know the town or probably city Watson lived in. It was only a few things he knew. Best friends indeed.

"Did you hear what I said," Watson said a bit angry, "Can you make me a Mutant or Not?"

"A Mutant," Miller repeated the words as he scratched the back of his hair with his left fingers, "Do you know what you are even asking?" Miller asked and this time his face looked serious.

"Yes, i do," Watson said looking even more serious than Miller, "I want to become a Mutant, Can you make me a Mutant or not?" He asked the question again.

"What the hell is going on," Alex said as he entered the room through the doors. He locked the door instantly as that had become a custom for him and his roommates, they had secrets they didn't want others to know about.

"Turn me into a Mutant with your blood like you did Alex," Watson said not minding what Alex had just said. Watson went on his knees instantly and bent down opening his mouth and closing both of his eyes.

"Ha Ha Ha"

The two boys laughed at Watson. "What is funny?" Watson asked still on his knees and he looked at Miller, not even caring about Alex.

"That would be an awesome collection to your Servitor Nexus," The System said, "I wonder what kind of Mutant, he would become if you turn him."

"The truth is, I can't do it," Miller said to Watson. He didn't like what the System said, turning Watson into a Mutant through his blood would automatically turn Watson into his minion and he didn't want his best friend to be his minion. He was still looking for a way to remove Alex from his Servitor Nexus, but he still hasn't found a way yet.

"Why?" Watson said standing up with a sad look on his face.

"That's because it doesn't work on Humans." Miller lied.

Watson then turned and looked at Alex and said. "Can you turn me into a Vampire?"

"No!"

It wasn't only Alex that shouted, including Miller snapped at his silly question.

"Firstly, you would turn into a 'blood sucking machine' like you called me today and you can't walk in the sun in peace, you would always feel burnt by the sun and weak under it. Falling in love with a human is forbidden as that can result in you creating a Dhampir - A Vampire's Greatest Enemy." After Alex said those words, looking at him, both Watson and Alex could tell that he was angry. Watson bent his head down in shame.

"Are you mad because you are a Vampire?" Miller asked.

Alex didn't reply Miller's question and just said, "I am heading to class." He started moving to the door without them and he turned and looked at them and said, "Even if I am a Vampire, it doesn't mean, I like the way the Vampires Settlement threat their criminals." And with those last words he was off.

"What does he mean by that?" Miller said looking at Watson, whose head was still looking at the floor.

"How would I know," Watson said, as he raised his head and looked Miller directly in the face and walked to the door, but before he left the room, he mocked Miller, "you are both supernatural people and you are asking me. How dumb are you? Ask him!"

BANG!

Watson shut the door aggressively, making Miller a bit shocked by his actions. "I guess everyone is mad at Me," Miller said to the System as it was the only one he could talk to right now.

"Miller, it is part of life," The System replied in an adult tone.

"Yeah, I guess you are right," Miller said as he left the room and locked the door behind him.

The three boys attended several classes as usual and Miller couldn't help, but feel a bit awkward about the situation, he felt like he couldn't breathe when he was around them. If his eyes and Watson's eyes meet, Watson would look away and frown angrily. If he looked at Alex, Alex would look away too.

They didn't even sit close to each other in class and neither did they sit close to each other in the Cafeteria.

In the Cafeteria, Watson was sitting on his own on a different table, even Alex was sitting on a different table away from them. Miller was sitting facing Catherine and by Catherine's left side was Lillian.

Catherine didn't look like she was interested in her food, she just focused on the book she was reading, a fantasy book.

"What is going on are you guys quarrelling?" Lillian asked Miller who was focused on his food. Catherine on the other hand was too focused on her book that she didn't even notice the others weren't there. She looked at Miller and then continued reading her book as she wasn't even interested.

"It's just a little misunderstanding, something guys won't solve," Miller said smiling and he continued eating his food.

"It's been a while," someone said touching Miller on his left shoulder.

Miller recognized that voice instantly, he jumped up from his seat and shouted "Mr. Reynolds!" He opened his arms and gave him a hug.

Catherine and Lillian who were sitting close bent down their heads a bit in shame. Miller shouted so loud drawing everyone's attention.

"How are you?" Alexander Reynolds asked as he stopped hugging him.

"I am fine sir," Miller said with a smile on his face.

"That's good to hear," Alexander tapped him on his right shoulder with his right hand.
