Convenient

When they came to the resort, there were a group of girls at the entrance, whispering among themselves. They only went in after He Zifeng had bought tickets.

Chen Kaori was a bit conscious as it looked like a date. She had a shy expression as she adjusted her hat.

She wore a yellow flowy dress which revealed her arms and her legs. Her thighs were pretty much covered as the dress ends at her knees. She braided her hair as usual, but put on a hat to further beat the heat.

He Zifeng approached her and immediately took her hand.

Chen Kaori was surprised and blushed.

Then she realized he was only putting on the ticket band on her wrist. She felt silly.

He Zifeng had a smile as he was helping her with the wrist band. He felt that her hand was soft and he wanted not to let go.

Being bold, he held her hand, almost naturally.

"Let's go!" he gently tugged her by the hand as they walked into the resort.

He Zifeng's parents knew that he was going out with Chen Kaori that day, and because they like her too much, they gave him more than enough money to spend.

He could recall how his mother teased him while she gave the money.

"Hey, aren't you giving me too much?! We will only be there until the afternoon. I'm not treating ten people to lunch." He Zifeng was not comfortable taking too much money with him.

"Eh...but how could you go all out?" Mrs. He chuckled.

"All out? You don't expect us to check into the hotel overnight, do you?!" He Zifeng had an incredulous frown.

Mrs. He giggled at the thought. "Well, if you did, we'll just get the two of you married." She gestured a celebration with her hands.

Mr. He laughed as well. "Alright, Cheng...stop teasing our son." He contained his laughter, then turned to his son, "It's okay, Son. I heard it was a luxury resort...better if you have enough money. If she wants to buy something, you can buy it for her, alright?"

Convinced, He Zifeng nodded his head. He took some bills and hid them deep inside his bag. The rest of the money, he secured in his wallet.

Going back to the resort, they had timely arrival. Only the group of girls who arrived before them were the guests at the entrance. There was no long line.

He Zifeng booked the A-frame cabin built nearest to the pool. It had a small kitchen, a bathroom, living area which opens to a terrace facing the pool, a small bedroom opposite the bathroom, and a loft bedroom.

There were no cottages like other resorts, just lounge chairs and tables with umbrellas by the pool. The public restrooms are at the farthest area of the resort.

He Zifeng was oriented of these when he bought tickets. He thought it would be more convenient for them to change and eat if they had a cabin to themselves. He can afford it anyway.

When they reached their assigned cabin, He Zifeng was about to enter when Chen Kaori tugged on the hand holding hers.

He Zifeng stopped on his tracks and turned to face her. "What's wrong?"

"Eh...did you book that?" Chen Kaori was from a well-off family, but she thought it was too much since they will only stay during the day.

"Of course I did. You think I would just enter randomly?" he snickered.

"Huh? But it'll be such a waste. We won't stay overnight anyway." Chen Kaori reasoned out.

"Who says we're not?" He Zifeng dragged her into the cabin.

"Eh...you're kidding, right?" Chen Kaori truly likes him, but staying in a cabin with him overnight is too much.

Her expression made He Zifeng laugh so much that tears almost escaped his lower lids.

"You..!" Chen Kaori went to push him playfully as he continued to laugh at her.

When He Zifeng had finally stopped laughing, he heard a gurgling sound.

He looked at Chen Kaori who was embarrassed again and he laughed as he dialled for the restaurant.
