"Huh" ' A god?' I thought, confused.

"You saw a part of him when you looked up at the last moment and it's also the reason you didn't die immediately. It seems you have some god's genes in you." the goddess patiently explained

"I see. So you caused this," The mood tensed.

"I died huh, even after trying to stay away from you, I still ended up dead in your hands."

"H-husband I'm sorry, I- I didn't know. I only stayed close to you to check on you, not to harm you. I didn't expect nor want this to happen." Hurriedly trying to explain as she fell to her knees.

As I stood watching her beautiful figure sob on the ground I remained indifferent and a tinge of red appeared with 3 tomoes around a black iris rotating but then disappeared as quickly as it appeared .

Venelana visibly trembled as she felt the aura emitted from the brief emergence of my bloodline.

'Impossible! Were they not found to be extinct?'

I flop down on my butt, panting.

"Bloodline?" 'Meh who cares, not like it would help me anyway.'

'Who cares? If word of this spreads to the other gods, war would break out in hopes of getting a powerful ally' Venelana smiled wryly.

"So what do I do now?" I probed.

"Well to be honest husband, this mostly depends on your choice since you stayed too long with me, you would have to go through another life before joining the cycle." Shrugging as she explained

"Heh! And here I thought you loved me. Already trying to get rid of me." I mocked.

"As much as you hate me my husband, I will always do things for your benefit. I already started making plans that would make you a minor god under my emotions denomination once your new life is over and you could live with me forever hehe." Venelana covered her face as the shocking words she spouted settled into my mind.

"Uh and why do you think I would want that?"

"I just don't see the point. I just want to live a relatively normal life and be able to be with the ones I love instead."
