Otogakure no Sato is now allied with Sunagakure no Sato.

It was easy. We would sell them food, medicine and explosive tags at an extremely reduced price and the service of our medical nins. Land of Rice Fields would divert 50% of their A rank missions to Sunagakure for the next three years. And if possible, a marriage alliance.

In exchange, they'll keep our existence a secret from the other Villages, especially Konoha. And cover any exposure to the best of their abilities. Share information. And help Otogakure no Sato reveal its existence in due time.

It might seem like that Oto got the bad end of the deal. But it is exactly the opposite.
