Chapter 2: Wait and don't chase

The booze of the music makes me so high as I dance on the dancefloor. I'm so happy as I finally escape from Daile's arm. He didn't let me to dance here because I'm drunk. But my body kept telling to come here and dance as long as I can.

I raised my hand and feel the every beat of the music. The crowd is continuously hyping me and I am so happy. But I need to stop when I feel, that I need to pee. I walked out of the crowd and find a restroom.

After I did my thing in the restroom. I go out and suddenly I felt the dizziness. The alcohol is slowly hitting me. I just smiled and realized why I am really excited to drink when I can't control it. Simply, I can't drink responsibly

I walk towards to a vacant seats and sit there. I just need to rest here for a bit before I go to our own table. I comb my hair using my hand and about to close my eyes when I found a guy sitting in the edge of my seat.

He look at me making me like a melting ice-cream. This man is so freaking handsome. His wearing a black long sleeve rolled until in his elbow. I think he came here after his work.

My dizziness gone makes me smiled at him in just a second. He didn't smiled back. He just picked his drink and didn't mind me.

I rolled my eyes and get a drink when a waitress walk in my place. This guy is so impossible. How come that he didn't smiled at me. I need to go at the restroom and check myself. Maybe my mascara or lipstick are scattered on my face.

"My face is perfect tonight." I said when I check it on the mirror. I did brief retouch and went outside.

I need to talk to that guy. So I went to the vacant seats again and found nothing. He already left.

"Where is he?" I asked to myself.

"Who?" Someone asked.

I faced who is it. I found Daile.

"I kept finding you. Where have you been?"

"Uh. I just rest here."

He held my arms. "Why? are you not feeling okay?"

I nod and pulled my arm from him."I think we need to go. Do you see Charrie?"

"Yeah, she is in the dancefloor."

Daile didn't let me to go at the crowd to find Charrie. He's the one who did it for me.

I'm just sitting on our seats and kept smiling to every person who look at me. I think I'm going crazy because of that guy.

He just look at my face without any emotion. Is he problematic or a bad-mood lonely guy. Whatever his mood. I need to find him again, maybe just to flirt. Make my face close to him and touched his lips. Just like that nothing more less.

"Moriya, let's go." I stopped from thinking when my eyes went on Daile.

He's holding the very drunk Charrie.

I followed them at the parking lot and help him at inserting Charrie in the car.

"Woohoo!" Charrie shouted near at my ear making me pissed.

"Hey! We are not in the bar anymore!" I shouted back. I look at her and found she's already asleep. Why so sudden?

"I'll drive you home first?" Daile asked and look at me using the mirror.

"Yes. I don't want to sit near at this drunk girl."

He just smiled and nod.

"You should sleep early. We have school tomorrow." He suggested.

It's been a month since he started to court me and I realized something. Daile is so clingy and very into cheesy things though he's kind and gentleman.

But I feel something wrong. Maybe he's not my ideal. I just let him to court me because we're friends.

I stopped from thinking and closed my eyes. I need to rest cause I feel dizzy and exhausted because of the party I've done.

In just a few minutes, I feel someone tapped on my shoulder.

"Moriya we're here." It's Daile.

I yawned and went out of the car and found one of our maids in the front of me.

"Moriya, goodnight. Happy birthday." Daile said and kissed my cheek that I didn't felt because I'm feeling so numb.

I smiled weakly and watch him drive away his car.

"You went in exclusive bar?" Our maid asked.

"Yes." I answered and look at her.

"Because you want to drink?" She added.

"Yes." For the second time.

We together and expecting to asked me again. But I'm wrong. She is just at my side when I begin to enter in my room.

I was about to close my door when she's still there. She is little bit old, so I think she will give me a moral lesson or bad impression about going to bars at night.

"Do you want to say... something?" I started.

She just staring at my face and smiled. "You know...you are so beautiful. I hope you will protect yourself as you began to find your soulmate."

She just said that I am beautiful for how many years of working here. She just realized that I'm beautiful? And what about soulmate?

"You're worth it to be love, Moriya. Just wait and don't chase."

Is she a soothsayer? That can know what will happened in the future.

"Yeah...I know. I'll wait and don't chase. Goodnight." I replied lazily and closed the door.

I changed my clothes and wear my Pajamas. I am so tired but a lot of things running in my mind.

First, if I should continue on dating Daile. Second, if Charrie is already in her house. Third, is about what our maid trying to say. And of course the last is about the guy.

I should find him. Just find him. Or just wait to find him because the maid said that I need to wait and don't chase.

But what If that guy can't be seen in just waiting? Of course I need to chase him.
