ELENA'S POV

I needed to know every single thing about this park, the deal that was made concerning me with the Crescent Ridge pack and about Alpha Herrick too. The dream I had last night was not just a mere nightmare, it was more like a warning but why? What was I being warned against? 

I was not afraid but I knew I had to be careful, afterall I was sold to this pack and could also be used as bait again just like my stepfather used me.

As he held me last night, I knew I had found my mate but was this all worth it? He didn't know I was his mate and all he ever wanted from me was to give him a heir. 

I knew there was more to this situation than what I have heard or seen so far. What of the facts I didn't know about? This was a puzzle I had to solve on my own. Everyone has been nice to me since I came here both Beth Alex and Sarah, even though I felt uneasy with the way Beta Alexander looked at me, like I was going to steal something from him.
