BACK HOME: Something to live for.

ALPHA Herrick's POV

She looked scared, I could see the hint of fear laced in her eyes and her facial features.

After we lost track of the parading warrriors, we had to continue our journey back to the moon chasing pack.

We finally got back to my pack, I was glad we did in one piece.

I would not deny it myself, I was bloody hell scared of the risky decision I had to take to escape with Elena. I had to feign being bold and unafraid as we journeyed through the forest so I wouldn't make Elena scared too. I had to look and be strong for her.

"Thank the moon goddess for bringing you back home safely my son." My mother quipped running to come give me a hug. She wrapped her frail hands around my large body which at this point I feel it's frail.
