Cesar: The reincarnation of the Sun

Cesar, a 16-year-old boy, lives in a rather precarious situation in a small country house. As a child, he lived with his grandfather, who told him strange stories before never coming home. His goal is to reach the Vèiger, a legendary place where the world's greatest mysteries and history are hidden, to fulfill his grandfather's will. During his journey, he will be helped by some characters who will join him, all with the same goal. However, the nations that govern that world are doing everything they can to prevent information about the Vèiger from being released to the public, becoming ruthless against anyone who tries to oppose their ideals.

Awakening

The air in that room, at first cold and dry, warmed up making it difficult to breathe. The humidity rose suddenly and what was before a dark darkness lit up with a dazzling light. The same light that came from Cesar.

The light particles dispersed throughout the room, risking to collide with Lefelob and Tolomew. The golden aura around Cesar was the real source of light that risked blinding Split, who stopped to observe.

"Stop... " said Cesar, completely filled with anger. His eyes had become red and slowly rising up, he was emitting smoke from them.

Tolomew, who was on the ground in death due to repeated blows inflicted by Split, looked bewitched and thought.

"You really are... Cesar... ".

"What a wonderful spectacle... Congratulations, little boy... What you think you're doing, let's hear it... " said Split with an air of defiance.

Cesar clenched his fists, the burning inside his stomach was getting worse. He had almost completely lost his mind and rushed to Split with a lot of anger.

Split tried to protect himself with his hands, but the force with which Cesar jumped on him was much greater than his own. Precisely for this reason, the moment when Cesar struck the hands of Split, they broke.

"Shit... " exclaimed Split in pain.

Split was thrown hard towards the wall behind him, breaking also his back.

"Cesar??" cried out Lefelob, amazed by the power of Cesar.

Cesar was so out of his mind that he wasted no time and jumped on Split immediately afterward, taking him by the neck.

He threw him hard against the wall on the other side of the room.

"So i-it is t-true... Cesar... You a-are indeed... the r-reincarnation of the power of the Sun... " whispered Tolomew at the end of his life.

By the time Split's body hit the other wall, Cesar had already jumped to him to give him the coup de grace.

He stood right in front of him and charged his right arm.

Split had been thrown so hard against that wall that he passed it by a little bit, getting stuck in there.

He looked up and saw the red, furious eyes of Cesar, who looked at him with strong contempt and hatred.

"Die... " exclaimed Cesar, completely lacking in lucidity.

He clenched his right hand and shot the blow on Split's face.

The blow was very strong, for this reason, the moment that Cesar's fist came to touch the face of Split, it exploded into a thousand pieces. That blow caused a shock wave so strong that the wall behind Split completely collapsed, revealing the landscape behind it.

Split's headless body fell to the ground in the rubble and Cesar writhed in too much pain.

"Cesar!!" exclaimed Lefelob, trying to get up. The pain in his leg was slightly gone but he still had trouble walking.

"Lefelob, let h-him... i-it will pass... " tried to say Tolomew.

Lefelob turned around, seeing Tolomew in poor condition.

"Tolomew, are you all right????" exclaimed Lefelob, heading towards him.

"No, Lefelob... B-but I knew it w-would be like this... In fact, I prefer i-it to be l-like this... I wouldn't h-have the c-courage to s-see him a-again... ".

"Him who?? Who do you mean??" asked Lefelob in tears.

Meanwhile, Cesar's pains passed and he fainted.

"Hinaji... he d-deceived me... he deceived the K-kormany and that's why I e-ended up here... But you don't have to c-cry, we've only k-known each o-other for a c-couple of h-hours haha... " he vomited blood.

"Promise m-me one t-thing... ".

"Yes... " replied Lefelob with a sobbing tone.

"Avenge m-me from Hinaji... I know that you can do it... Cesar h-has the power of the Sun... Tell him as soon as he wakes up... With his power, he c-can change the world and reach the Vèiger... I t-trust in you... " he said, before vomiting more blood.

"Yes... " We will avenge you from Hinaji and reach the Vèiger for you... Tolomew... said, wiping his tears.

"One last thing, b-before I pass to the other world... You m-must go to Tevon... He will know how to g-give you a hand with the power of Cesar... I tell you the coordinates to r-reach his mansion... " he said, before dictating the coordinates.

Lefelob wrote it on a sheet of paper.

Meanwhile, inside the castle, many guards were entering, alerted by the collapse of the wall caused by the blow of Cesar.

"T-thank you for m-making me r-relive these e-emotions one last time... " Tolomew said, before closing his eyes forever.

Before he ran away, Lefelob also noted a strange writing on a tablet that was part of one of the walls of the room. After that, Lefelob took both Tolomew and Cesar in his arms and came out of the crack in the wall of the castle.

The guards inside the castle found no one.

[...]

Lefelob had escaped from the castle and sat under a tree near a small house, not knowing that it was the house of Cesar. He took in hand the note in which he transcribed those strange writings.

"Who knows what it says... " he thought to himself.

About ten minutes passed before Cesar awoke.

"Where... " he said still drowsy.

Lefelob stood silent, looking down at the horizon with a sad, almost melancholy air.

"Split?? Where is he?? And Tolomew?? Why are we outside the castle?? What happened??" asked Cesar rather stunned.

"Split... You defeated him... Tolomew instead... " he interrupted for a few seconds.

"Tolomew??" asked Cesar, not noticing the body of Tolomew lying on the other side of Lefelob.

"Tolomew instead... He died... ".

Cesar was rather shocked by those words. Only then he looked near Lefelob, noticing the body of Tolomew.

"Is he dead?? How did he die??".

"The blows he received from Split were fatal for him... But if you hadn't lost control, we'd probably have ended up the same way... " replied Lefelob.

"I lost control?? In what sense??" asked Cesar rather startled. He remembered nothing from the moment he lost control to when he woke up from fainting.

"Yes, Cesar... " you lost control.
