The memories of the Cerin ( Pt.1)

The second Cerin's life.

The youngest Cerin arrived in the second's room similar to how she had arrived in the Firsts, in a great fanfare of bright light. Two looked at the young girl in her room with an oddly amused expression.

" So you're the one I'm supposed to pass my memories down to huh?

Nine nodded,

" Or so the first told me."

Two had actually heard all about the so-called purpose from First, who had visited her room. It appeared that they were all locked inside their rooms until they had shared their memories.

Two was a bit reluctant to do such a thing as the experience described by First had been odd but she wanted to get out of the room and had wondered what the purpose of the jade star was.

She waved Nine over to her side and with a youthful tone said,

" Let's do this"

She put her palm onto Nine's forehead and was indeed startled by the feeling of merging with another soul but soon found it rather comfortables as her memories were passed down and she was guaranteed to be remembered by a member of the living.

Nine lived through the memories of being born into a rather wealthy family as well as being disowned for refusing a political marriage. She lived through struggling to live by being a waitress and then through being a bar singer until she finally found her talent in songwriting and made a living through that.

She remembered her first big hit and the pride followed by her marriage to a rather popular singer at the time. She remembers her husband's natural death of old age and the ungrateful whore she had been forced to take as a daughter in law. She remembered writing songs for beans and pennies in the name of family and finally being burned to death in a pathetic little room that barely qualified as a studio.

Nine woke up with a gasp as the last memory she'd had was that of being suffocated to death. A flame for revenge burned in her large eyes and she turned to second with a gaze that showed she had taken on her fiery temper as well as her memories.

"We- no I will get revenge for you!"

Two only laughed, happy that her memories had such an impact on the younger girl but she also worried that it would become a negative thing.

She contemplated easing her off the revenge tangent but soon remembered that Nine would probably be similarly influenced by the others and let it be.

'Youth need a bit of fire in their personalities after all.'

The old woman chuckled good-naturedly for the first time in a long while and headed over to chat with the first, finally understanding why she had been so insistent on not giving any resistance to the younger girl.
