That night Nick carried Samantha back his room in the house. She was hurting badly and started crying, so as always she pulled her into his arms on the couch and cradled her body until the medication kicked in she fell asleep.
The rest of the family had already gone to bed and Martin had came downstairs to find his son humming a soft tune and watching the Christmas lights. Sam was resting peacefully in his arms.
Smiling at his son he said, "She's fast asleep."
"Yeah. She's a sound sleeper. She was hurting while we were watching a Christmas cartoon with Harper."
"Hunter just passed by my room with the little angle," he said sitting next to his son, talking softly. "Harper's excited she's getting a baby brother."
"Yeah. Hunter's a lucky man. Eve's great."
"Yes. How you are you, Son? Your fight is coming up soon."
