Marry Me

While they were still chatting and eating happily, the Mo family had done enjoying their dinner.

The Mo family passed by Lu Jingyi's table when they were about to leave. Xu Wenwen was excited to see them in person and she kept kicking Lu Jingyi underneath the table.

Mo Zhexuan turned his head and looked into Lu Jingyi's eyes. He smiled.

Lu Jingyi blushed and hung her head down to hide her embarrassment. Suddenly, something like a shadow passed by her quickly that she couldn't catch on.

Then, she heard something that shocked her.

"Marry me!!"

Mo Zhexi was still sulking how his brother intended to add his workload for flirting with Lu Jingyi. His brother was holding a grudge on him.

When they were about to leave, he saw a beautiful girl sitting with Lu Jingyi. His heart raced so fast. He.... He was in love with that girl.

He didn't know what was happening to him. His heart couldn't control itself from beating in a high pace. It's love at first sight.

And the next thing he knew, he was already standing in front of her. He knelt down and shouted.

"Marry me!!"

Mo family & Lu Jingyi : "???"

Xu Wenwen : "?????????"

Others in the restaurant : "!!!!!"

What the hell just happened? Father Mo was holding back his laughter which he witnessed his son gave a sudden proposal to the girl.

Mother Mo was utterly shocked by Mo Zhexi's action. Mo Zhexuan was speechless seeing what his idiotic brother did while Lu Jingyi eyes were widened and looked at Xu Wenwen with a shocked face.

Xu Wenwen was utterly speechless and she did not know what to do with Mo Zhexi. But she still replied to him in politeness since he was one of the Mo family.

"Sorry, no."

"That's okay. I will not give up. Can you give me your number? I will like to see you again and if possible, I want to invite you to a meal."

Mo Zhexi didn't mind that she rejected him. He will just work harder to get her to accept him. He knew he's crazy. But he couldn't control himself.

The moment he laid his eyes on her, he knew that she will be the one for him.

"I'm sorry. I don't give my number to someone I've just met."

Xu Wenwen politely refused him again while glaring at Lu Jingyi for not helping her stopping Mo Zhexi.

"Then, we'll just have meet again. If I meet you again, you will have to promise me to give me your number."

Was this guy crazy? Xu Wenwen already rejected him twice but he still didn't want to give up. She might as well promise him first and avoid him when she sees him anywhere afterwards.

"Okay. I promise."

Xu Wenwen was tired of this and subconsciously made a huge loopholes on this promise. Later onwards, Xu Wenwen would regret her decision. Or maybe.

Mo Zhexi was delighted to hear her promise to him. Mother Mo couldn't stand his son's method in wooing a girl. He practically 'forced' the girl to promise him.

"I'm sorry. My idiot son startled you with his action. I hope you don't mind."

"O-of course not, Mrs Mo."

"Great. Enjoy your meal with Jingyi. Oh, and come visit me with Jingyi too. I could use some accompany with you girls."

Lu Jingyi and Xu Wenwen both nodded their heads on Mother Mo's invitation. After that, Mother Mo asked Father Mo to drag Mo Zhexi and they all left.

After they left, Xu Wenwen left out a big sigh. But then, she saw Lu Jingyi grinning at her.

"What are you looking at?! Stop smiling!"

"Noooothing"

The smile on Lu Jingyi's face widened as she teased Xu Wenwen while Xu Wenwen wanted to kill herself from the embarrassment.
