S2| 114. Trembling with Shock

"Are you nervous?" Julian whispered as the car they were traveling in had entered the airport area.

While tightening her grip, Mia swallowed hard. "A little," the girl answered in a weak voice.

Realizing how cold and sweaty his lover's fingers were, Julian tilted his head and put on a shady look. While stroking the back of the girl's hand with his thumb, he said, “Don't worry, Mia. Everything will be fine. Airport security has been tightened and policemen are on guard in several places.”

"Sorry, Julian," the girl sighed as she couldn't lie to herself. “There is no way I can assuage this fear. I don't want anything bad to happen to you."

Before the man refuted, Mia continued talking. “So let the tension fill my nerves. I need it to be more vigilant.”

Realizing that his lover's words were true, the corners of Julian's lips lifted even though they were heavy. "You know what? I can't wait to see you in a wedding dress."
