Lucy and Davis stepped inside the house and the dinner was ready to be served.
After getting freshened up quickly, both of them were back at the dining table where they sat opposite each other.
It wasn't a big dining table but spacious enough to accommodate at least six people.
But from the moment Davis agreed to be her friend, Lucy was already feeling relief on the part. 'At least I don't have to be aloof with him anymore.' It was a great deal for her.
She picked up her spoon and both of them were eating their dinner in utmost silence until it was Davis who broke the peace between them.
"Lucy, you had said it right."
"Um?"
Lucy raised her head, bewildered at what he meant by his words.
When Lucy was going to ask him about his words, Davis answered before. "All the women associated with me either by dating or having a bit of a crush, all of them have gone to Denis. It was Denis who used to approach them so easily."
