Chapter 17

Justine and Nathalia are done for everything except for setting up the table for dinner when her mom arrives.

"Wow I smelled yummy food! I was still in the elevator when I smelled a yummy dish, I thought it's from the neighbors, I was surprised when the smell comes from our house," her mother exclaims who has a wide smile on her lips as she gets inside and looks at the kitchen where their cooked food in place.

The both of them immediately greets her with a warm greeting, a tight embrace, and a soft kiss on her cheek.

"Hi, Justine, did you get your new passport?" Mrs. Sanchez asks for his update.

Nathalia's mom has known Justine since they are in tenth grade. Her mother knows that Jsutine is her best friend and she also knows that the two of them treat each other like a brother and sister: nothing more and nothing less, hence why she is never worried.

"Yes, aunty, we went there after we finished our last subject," he replies.
