Chapter 58

　　? ASHLYN ?

　　I woke up to the sweet smell of food from the kitchen and I followed the smell to where it was coming from "the kitchen".

　　Kendrick was preparing something. He smiled at me as soon as he noticed my presence.

　　"Hey babe, you're awake" he said while he kept his focus on the food.

　　I walked close to him and hugged him from behind "Kendrick, am incomplete without you". I said in a soft tone trying to hide myself in him.

　　"Ashlyn, you Mom is spying on me for a while, now she's looking at you" He said with a chuckle.

　　I opened my eyes widely and stuck my tongue out in shame, before removing my hands from his waist.

　　My mom walked to me and asked "Ashlyn, who's this young man?"

　　I got dumbfounded by her question.

　　"How do I explain to her?" I asked for myself.I was too immersed in my thought that I didn't notice I was staring at her like a fool until Kendrick walked up to me and held my hand. His touch brought me back to reality.
