Training With Miss Erika

"Mhmm…" Slowly, Eden started to gain consciousness, and as he opened his eyes, the first thing he saw was Emilie's face in close proximity to his own.

"Hmm?!" He was taken aback after noticing her being this close to him.

But it wouldn't take long for a smile to grace his face as he drew even closer to her, their faces almost next to each other until the tips of their noses brushed against each other. He commented, "You look so lovely, my love."

Gently, he caressed her cheek with his left palm, expressing, "This sweet texture, such an ethereal beauty. I love you way too much, my lady, my love, my life. Gosh, you're my everything!"

Suddenly, he bit his lips, realizing that he was saying a little too much as he closed his eyes, pondering, 'Her charm almost made me lose my sanity. It may cringe for others, but to me... this feeling is ethereal!'

He felt butterflies in his stomach as he reminisced about the moments when he and Lady Celestia used to sleep together. The wonderful memories caused the smile on his face to grow wider.

Gradually, Eden's gaze shifted to Emilie's lips, feeling a strong urge to kiss her as she looked adorable in her sleep. He leaned closer to her lips, mumbling, "Pardon my gutsiness. But I can't help it, Emilie. You're just so cute."

Concluding his words, he tenderly planted a kiss on her lips with his eyes closed. He aimed to be as gentle as possible, ensuring she wouldn't wake up from the kiss.

After a moment, he lifted his lips and observed that even in her sleep, Emilie's face had turned bright red.

Observing this, Eden couldn't help but laugh, whispering, "Ah, my sweet little heart..." Then he gently stroked her head, muttering, "Have a nice sleep."

Having said that, he rose from his bed and began walking outside. Gripping the knob, he turned it around, and before stepping out, he glanced at Emilie, smiled, and finally exited.

"...." As he left, the room fell into a hushed stillness, yet that silence was short-lived.

"Mgh!" Unexpectedly, Emilie convulsively sat up and covered her face with her palms.

"He... kissed me..." It became evident that she had been awake this whole time.

"He really did it..." Her face lit up with a radiant smile as she clutched her pillow, and started rolling around the bed with gleeful laughter. It seemed she had heard every word that Eden had spoken.

"My everything, hmm?" Giggling at the thought, she buried her face in her pillow and murmured, "He's mine..."

Shortly, her golden eyes darkened slightly, and she added, "He's only mine…I won't let anyone have him. Absolutely no one!"

Deprived of love in her life, Emilie's heart had turned cold, but the abundant affection from Eden seemed to have plunged her into the realm of Yandere tendencies!

"Ding!"

As Eden arrived at his training garden, suddenly, the system clanged, reporting,

[Congratulations, host! You've managed to ascend to be the CCC-ranked human!]

Upon hearing this, Eden raised an eyebrow in confusion and questioned, "Huh? Have I? Why didn't you let me know earlier?"

"Ding!"

[Sorry to disappoint you, but I'm not insensitive to intervene in the lovely moments you two were having. So, this is the best time to report since you're already going to train, no?]

The system responded, yet its tone seemed surprisingly humane rather than robotic, for some reason.

"Yeah, yeah, I understand, my saviour."

Eden laughed nervously and then sighed. A serious expression crept on his face as he asked, "So, is there any new data again?"

[Certainly!]

The system responded as it began reporting,

[A new data set-up has been created!]

"Woah, woah, woah, that's amazing!" Eden grinned widely after hearing about the skills. Stretching his arms, he commented, "Even though I've just had some sleep now, I won't rest any longer. Since it's time for training, I might as well get to it."

[Indeed!]

The system concurred, posing the question, [So, where do you want to train? Virtual Dungeon or The White Room.]

"Hmm, by the way, how many points do you charge for the White Room now?" Eden inquired, shifting his gaze to the system screen on the left.

[Well, for your second time, it'll cost you 50,000 points.]

The system clanged. Eden seemed to grasp that the expense of using the White Room would escalate as he continued to progress.

"Hmmm…let's see…" Eden lowered his gaze as he began to ponder his options.

He understood that training in the White Room could boost his strength by two or threefold more than in the Virtual Dungeon, but he also knew it would come at a higher cost since it was the second time.

"Hmmm…well," Eden raised his gaze again and replied, "I think I better train in—"

"Eden? Is that you?" His words were abruptly interrupted by someone. As Eden turned his gaze to the right, he spotted Miss Erika holding some documents in her hands.

"Oh, Miss Erika?" Eden responded as a thought struck him upon noticing his mentor.

Erika, on the contrary, scanned the surroundings, looking for someone.

As she spotted no one other than Eden, she shifted her gaze at him, asking, "Wait, there's no one, right? Then, whom are you talking with?" She posed the exact same question as Emilie did upon noticing Eden talking to someone.

"Oh, just talking to myself," Eden replied with the same answer as he stepped towards her.

"Huh? Talking to yourself? You're…strange. So…you're here just to talk to yourself?"

Erika asked, a bewildered look formed on her face.

"Not particularly," Eden shook his head as he stood in front of her and replied, "I was actually looking for you, Miss."

"What?" Hearing Eden's response, Miss Erika tilted her head and added, "Is there something specific you want from me?"

"Yes," Eden nodded as a dark grin crept across his face. He placed his palms on Erika's shoulders, asking, "Do you recall my three requests?"

"Huh? Y-yeah, I do." Erika nodded, feeling a bit uneasy with Eden's demeanor and crazy smile.

"Then, do you remember that you have to train me, right?" Eden inquired, gazing into her eyes, his crimson eyes seeming to glint with enthusiasm.

"Ugh, I do remember…" After hearing Eden's statement, Miss Erika averted her eyes. She felt a bit hesitant about training Eden, especially after witnessing how fiercely he had dealt with Alfred.

"Shall we begin our training, Miss Erika?" Eden inquired with a serious yet enthusiastic tone.

"Uhh…I wish I could, but you see, I'm rather busy." Miss Erika gestured towards her documents, attempting to defer the training session.

"Shall we?" Eden seemed unfazed by Erika's attempt as he persistently asked her.

"W-wait, are you even listening? I'm busy, so I can't—"

"Shall we?!" Cutting off Miss Erika's voice, Eden's enthusiasm escalated, as though he was compelling her to train him.

Sigh!!

Seeing Eden's enthusiasm, Erika let out an exasperating sigh and shifted her gaze at Eden, grumbling, "You battle junkie brat…Fine!! I'll train you," In a frustrated tone, Erika replied and turned around, commanding, "Follow me!"

"Gladly!" Eden beamed since his attempt to pursue Erika finally succeeded as he started following her.

Shortly, they arrived at the sports field. Miss Erika placed the documents on the desk and walked towards the field.

"Wow, this ground sure is bigger than I've expected," Eden muttered to himself, his eyes scanning the area with a look of awe on his face.

"Obviously, it's the sports ground, after all," Erika replied. She raised her left palm, and her cosmic blade appeared as she clasped it tightly, saying, "You're already strong; I've witnessed this in battle. But since you're so desperate to get even stronger, let's try this."

Completing her words, she snapped her fingers, and a transparent red barrier surrounded the entire ground, causing the atmosphere to turn dark.

"Another dimension, huh?" Eden tilted his head after noticing the alteration in the area.

"A little, but this one is different from before," Erika replied as she raised her gaze towards the sky, continuing, "In this dimension, even if you get killed, you won't die in the real world. So, feel free to go all out."

"Oh…I see." Eden nodded and smiled as he inwardly whispered, 'It's just like the Virtual Dungeon, eh? Miss Erika sure is something. Well, nothing less from an S-ranked sword maiden, I guess.'

Then, a dark grin crept on his face again as he summoned his golden blade, and while clasping it tightly, he pointed it at his Miss Erika, commenting, "Well, everything for my sweet-sweet revenge."

"Yeah…wait, this blade…how did you come to possess it?" She didn't seem to notice it before, but now, she discovered that Eden's blade resembled her cosmic blade a lot.

"Heh, it's my little secret~" Eden smirked, placing his blade horizontally in front of his face, as he asked, "Anyway, shall we, Miss?"

Sigh! "You're so cheeky," Miss Erika sighed while rolling her eyes after noticing Eden's cheesiness.

Then, she swiftly swirled her blade, replying, "Sure then."

Then, in a flash, both of them surged forward and exclaimed in unison, "Let our fun/battle begin!!"
