The Amethyst Eyes

"Mommy! Daddy!" a child called out as she pushed the door open, her action awakened her parents from her sleep.

Upon hearing a cry from their child, Lluelu immediately got up while Zion turned on the lamp beside their bed. It was 3:00 am, what could possibly frighten their daughter?

"My baby, what's wrong?" Lluelu's face was painted with worry as she scooped her daughter up in her arms and gently patted her child's back to calm her down. Lluelu smiles at her husband who was already sitting up on the bed.

"a dream…"the girl spoke softly.

A helpless smile was on Zion's face as his wife sat and motioned to carry their little girl, but the Child held tightly on her mother. "My love. We all have dreams like that too." he said.

The girl slowly lifted her head and looked at her father, she hiccups "Really? I was alone there Daddy. I was lonely."

Zion immediately wiped his daughter's tears and patted her head, "You must have been so scared." he said and glanced at his wife then back to his daughter.

The Child shook her head,"I was not. Not scared, just…worried, confused and heart…hurts. and I was older there.", her answer was vague but the couple knew what their Child meant. Most especially, Lluelu.

Lluelu, while looking at her husband worried, felt her body shake but had to control it as she did not want to scare her daughter.

Zion saw how his wife suddenly looked pale, so he moved closer and wrapped an arm around his wife, "Lyanna," he started as he took his daughter and sat her on his lap, "You must always remember that, even if things seems hard and nothing is going your way–"

"I should remember who I am, and not lose myself in the process. A problem is only given to test me and my strength to help me grow. But also remember that each step I take, decisions I make, and actions I act upon will change this world, because I am a High human." Lyanna said, remembering the values taught to them.

Zion smiled proudly at his daughter, "That's right."

They continued to talk for a bit until Lyanna had calmed down, when she was starting to feel sleepy, Zion and Lluelu carefully carried their daughter back to her room.

"What's wrong? Did something happen to Lyanna?" a voice spoke from their back, Zion turned knowing who it was; their eldest son, Kaspian. Zion nodded to his wife to go ahead, in which she did after she told them not to stay up too late.

When Lluelu got to her daughter's room she gently placed Lyanna to her bed and tucked her in.

"Mommy, in that dream. Someone else was there, a sad creature…person. Who said that he was waiting for me." she said sleepily, as she slowly dozed off to sleep.

Lyanna was back on the ground, near the foot of the mountain She held her head as she felt the pounding slowly disappear, she inhaled sharply and felt Sierra nuzzle her head to Lyanna, making her ticklish.

"I'm okay now, the pain is gone." she consoled the beast, who was worried about her.

[Kreakk-keke]

Every memory that she remembers always make her feel weak, it starts with a headache until the memory comes to pass, she could only sigh at her situation now as she slowly got up.

"I was having prophetic dreams as a child. And they knew about it, not because of my dream but because my mother had already seen it. My family was destroyed, they knew it was coming but they did not prevent it."

the voice was silent, as if it was contemplating. "Fate has a funny thing making sure everything falls into place, My Lady. I can't even fight it."

The creature beside Lyanna nudged her to the direction deeper in her forest, she knew that from this moment was her journey, with one last goodbye to the Griffin, Sierra–who had become fond of her, she took a step in the darkest part of the forest.

"So tell me… why am I even following your orders?" Lyanna voiced out a frustrated groan after 20 minutes of walking. The terrain was a challenge to her who was never used to a road so bumpy—the soles of her shoes which had holes was the evidence of this new struggle. Now Lyanna should be more careful on every step to avoid sharp stones.

The voice chuckled in her head from her remark, "Little girl, I assure you that following my voice would be something you'd be thankful for in the future." Lyanna could only roll her eyes.

As Lyanna was navigating through the forest, the voice led her to where a running river can be found for her to re-hydrate herself. Lyanna can hear her heartbeat as she slowly approaches the waters, "Am I seriously scared of seeing my own reflection?" she whispered to the sky to which she glanced up.

Carefully, she pressed her eyes close and kneel beside the body of water.

"Woah." she couldn't believe what she was seeing. She knew her face…as a child. But now?

The face which stared back at her was unrealistically beautiful. The dull skin she had from the days she remained hungry and dehydrated as an act of punishment was replaced with a soft porcelain skin--it was glowing under the sun. Her lips and cheeks, rosy. The face was perfection itself. Finally was her eyes, her fingertips touched the corner of her eyelids, she now understands Klein's reaction. No one other than her family has these eyes.

Amethyst eyes, hers were warm, they were like gems.

Completing her awakening changed her, Even the wounds she had just a few hours ago healed itself, and the body she always felt like a tight and uncomfortable part of her was gone. She feels complete, not entirely yet–she still needs to fix her mana core–But Lyanna feels comfort in knowing that she is finally completing a puzzle, and the puzzle is herself.

"I have a month till the Vishar Forest's exit is revealed. Do you think you have enough time to teach me everything and safely guide me to awakening?" Lyanna said, a smile playing on her lips.

The voice scoffed, "I would not be the Great Purple Phoenix if I can't do that in half a time. Besides, do you really need my guidance?"

Lyanna was silent as she got up after drinking her fill at the river, she doesn't need him. Lyanna have a great library in her head and a talent similar to her father, "You're offering power, and I need every little bit of it for my journey."

In a dark cave, the creature slowly got up and a dangerous smile was on his lip, "Soon little ones, The master you've waited for centuries has come."
