CHAPTER: 07

                      "UNWANTED EVENT"

       vindy entered the bar in red dress. she looked beautiful. she saw Michael and waved to him. Michael passed a smile. "woooo stop that sparkling girl, you will make me blind" Michael said laughing. "well if it's a compliment?! thanks" vindy said in an attitude. "you are in happy mood. what is this about?" asked Michael. "i have accomplished something" vindy told smiling. "what is it? wanna share" questioned Michael. "someday later" vindy refused. "okay! then what was about your husband? you were saying that on phone" Michael asked while he was pouring a drink for vindy. "it's a long story and it includes your sister" vindy mentioned. "ohhh Veronica?" Michael said in curiosity. "yeah! she plays the main role" vindy told. she told him everything about their relationship. "so it was the adam's murder night?" questioned Michael. "yup it was" vindy nodded. "so what happened next? are they still together?" asked Michael. "according to them, they are not" vindy replied. "i am so sorry for everything. Veronica is a mess" Michael said and went to other side of counter to attend other people. vindy stayed for a little while staring him working and left after saying goodbye.

           it was late at night. vindy entered the house. "where were you the full day?" questioned lisa. "at the bar!" vindy mentioned. "the whole day?" asked lisa in curiosity. "i went to sea side after that" told vindy. "are you all right? you seem disturbed" lisa was concerned. "i am alright" vindy said in exhausting voice. lisa took vindy to her room, removed her shoes and helped her laying down.

      "is this miss marry fowler?" someone on the phone said in the middle of the night. " yes! what is it?" marry counter questioned. "we have an emergency. your office caught on fire" the person on the call told. "this is not possible. OMG i am coming" marry hung up. she got there as soon as she could.

     "No, No please No. everything is ashes. God!.......the files!...the evidence!....my work! everything is on fire. shit!" marry started crying. "there , there" man in a black coat said standing near her. "who are you?" questioned marry. "it's Stephen cooper" man told. "father of Veronica cooper? what are you doing here officer?" asked marry. "wow you know me well. i live nearby. i was told that there is fire so i came here for help then i saw you crying" mentioned Stephen. "okay thanks but no need of help. everything is finished" marry said in sorrowfull voice. "stop crying! there is no use of crying over spilt milk" Stephen mentioned. "i should go home" marry said and left.

     Early in the morning. lisa got a letter. she opened it. "what is it?" asked vindy. "Ohh my Godness! am i dreaming. pinch me vindy please" said lisa in an excitement. "what is it lisa? tell me" vindy asked again. "I got a job in real" lisa mentioned excitedly. "wow congratulations! we should celebrate" said vindy. "yeah sure i am soo happy" lisa agreed. vindy's phone rang. "hello" she picked up. her face expressions changed. "what? how?....okay we will visit" she hung up. "who was that?" questioned lisa. "bad news just after a good news. it was officer john. Marry's office burned down" told vindy. "Oh no! that's horrible" lisa said sadly. "we should go. marry needs us" vindy adviced and took her keys. lisa followed her.

      they reached her house and knocked. marry opened the door. "you should ask before opening." advised lisa to marry. "guyz i am not in a mood of meeting anybody so please some other time" marry said. "we know what happened. we are here to cheer you up." vindy mentioned. "Uhuh really vindy? go please." said marry in angry tone. "okay we are leaving!" said lisa. marry closed the door. "maybe fire burned her brain! idiot" vindy said angrily. "leave it. she is in trauma." mentioned lisa.

    lisa entered leny house. "you really burned her office? why? what if someone saw you there? you are crazy." leny was talking on the phone. lisa listened that. "leny! what the hell?" lisa said in shock. "ohhh lisa. what a surprise! how did you get in?" leny said hesitating. "your roommate opened the door. who were you talking to?" questioned lisa. "ummm my old friend." answered leny. lisa stayed quiet and pretended like nothing happened but she was suspicious about every word he uttered on that mysterious phone call. "i should go maybe. you are looking busy." lisa said and left.
