My eyes closely followed the moment of his body as he lazily jogged down the tracks and for the hundredth time, I silently asked myself how I was gonna actually approach this person to begin with, before I could even attempt becoming friends with him.
Xander.
Xander Woods.
That's the name Andrian had provided me with and after digging a little, I discovered that not only was he a predator, he was also one of the extra-special students in the school.
He's of a Lycan breed. He looked very dangerous and I shuddered at the mere thought of approaching him. I wasn't a bubbly person on a normal day and I didn't exactly know how to make friends except when approached first.
Xander was ridiculously tall and broad shouldered. His hair was quite long and he currently had it in a bun. As he jogged, his biceps bulged and glistened in the sun, making my cheeks feel like it was on fire before I hastily averted my gaze. I've been sitting underneath a tree in the courtyard where Xander was exercising. He's the exact reason why I was currently here because well, I was supposed to approach him once he was done in order to try making friends with him.
Although I wasn't sure that was gonna be possible, seeing as he was basically unapproachable. He had earbuds in his ear, a clear sign of not wanting to be disturbed.
Andrian had said that if I wanted to dig out things about his family, things which are not on the internet, then I have to actually befriend him and make him trust me so he'd be able to trust me.
I wasn't sure of how that's gonna work out at this point.
When I blinked once, I realized that the Lycan was gone. He wasn't jogging any longer, his bag which was by the side of the end of the track wasn't in sight as well.
I cursed underneath my breath as I got to my feet. How the hell did he manage to slip away from under my nose?

Taylor and I were lazily walking towards our dorm when I asked him what he knew about Xander.
Taylor stopped in his tracks, eyebrows arched as he asked me why I was suddenly curious.
"No reason in particular."
"Xander is a big shot in this school. He's quite popular even though he keeps to himself every time. He's also a special student."
"Remember when I told you about the four big clans in the country? I said Blaze came from the biggest Clan of the entire four, remember? Well, Xander comes from the second biggest clan out of the entire four." Taylor explained and I felt my heartbeat accelerate at the mention of that name.
Blaze.
Automatically, my hand inched upwards to press against the side of my throat where he had apparently marked me in.
After Taylor and Josh had explained what it was that Blaze had done to the side of my throat when I had thought he had been about to rip out of my throat, I had almost fainted from shock.
That made me skip school the next day because the thought of coming across Blaze made me almost pass out. Taylor and Josh had encouraged me to skip school as well, while hoping that Blaze's scent would wear off from my body quickly because they claimed that I was gonna attract unwanted attention and problems to myself that way.
His scent had managed to almost completely wear off from my body, which I was really grateful for. It's the only reason why I was able to attend school today. I made sure to drench myself in perfume while hoping no one gets a whiff of his scent off my body.

"Uh- hello." I whispered tentatively, a little too low than I expected and I silently cursed myself out for it. Xander didn't even seem like he heard me, or perhaps he did, but chose to ignore me. He was walking down the hallway, hands in his pockets and earbuds plugged in.
I tried speaking up two more times before deciding on giving up on seeing how fruitless my attempts at introducing myself were.
As I watched him disappear down the hallway, I silently asked myself if befriending this dude was even going to be possible at this rate.
I made sure to exit the hallway almost immediately, not wanting any bullies to find me there.
Ever since that encounter with Blaze in the restroom days ago, I had made sure to be extra careful to never ever run into him. So far, I'm yet to get a whiff or sight of him and I wasn't sure of how to feel about that just yet. Taylor had advised me to keep my guard up and that's exactly what I've been doing.

I was currently getting dressed because someone had knocked on our dorm this morning informing us that a dorm party was being hosted tonight. Of course, I had wanted to sit it out but apparently, everyone needed to attend.
Taylor had reassured me that predators weren't going to be present and that had managed to calm most of my nerves.
Nick was nowhere to be found, I haven't come across him since that night whereby we exchanged a few words.
Taylor came to get me five minutes later, dressed in a cropped top and a pair of shorts that were just too flimsy to be worn in public. I was dressed in my usual dark jeans and dark turtleneck top, and this time, Taylor didn't comment on it on purpose.
"You ready?" He asked as we stepped out of the house and I nodded as I locked the door after me.
"I think so, yup." I breathed out in response. Taylor placed a hand on my wrist.
"Before we get there, I want you to brace yourself for what we'd meet there, so you don't get freaked out. Like for example, there'd be orgies there, to begin with…"
