13. LET THERE BE CARNGE ( short chapter )

[ SHIRO POV ]

I opened my eyes and saw nothing. It was just darkness everywhere. My body felt light, I tried to walk, but I couldn't move an inch. I tried various ways, but couldn't move from my initial place. I concentrated and started thinking of all the possible theories for my current predicament when I heard footsteps from the darkness.

I squinted my eyes to see, but all I saw was black. The nearer the footsteps came, the brighter the place I was in becoming. My brain numbed for a second when I saw the carnage walking towards in all its glory.

" Pathetic, Useless, Coward " growled carnage while looking at me.

" Who are you? " I asked, which felt like the most important question at this time.

" As much as I hate to say it. I am YOU " said carnage stopping a few inches before me.

" What???" I asked unable to understand.

" I am you, the better part of you. The part which didn't curl around whimpering, when his mother had an affair. The part, which became the man that served punishment for all those sinners." said the carnage looking down at my face.

" You're him. My other personality. But, GOL said he fixed it. " I said as my brain started working again.

" I'm not some defect to be fixed. I am Carnage. That GOL just delayed my arrival for some time. I was waiting for the perfect time to take over you, while I was watching everything. From what I saw till now, I can say You are still pathetic, even with all that power at your fingertips. Doing nothing but, hiding and falling in love like a kid. " snarled carnage.

" I was not hiding. I was being smart" I said angrily.

" We don't play smart. We just bulldoze anyone who comes in our way. But, here you are wasting the power given to you. Did you think of yourself as a saviour?. You are not, you are just a guy with a hero complex. " said carnage.

" I saved people. I stopped Kyoko and her family from getting rapped. The mother and daughter in the hot springs, and the girl in the alley. I saved lives and killed the scum. " I shouted at the carnage.

" What about that girl, saki? Did you see how she is when you arrived? What would have happened if you were late for a few more seconds? " asked carnage.

I hung my head in shame, remembering saki. By the time, I reached the room she was drugged and naked on the Hayato while Hayato was about to rape her. Knowing what would have happened to her, if I didn't remember her due to Kyoko.

I looked up hearing the footsteps and saw carnage walking away. The surroundings started to be consumed in darkness.

" Where are you going? " I said and tried to follow him, but I still couldn't move.

" I'm going to show them real carnage," said the carnage.

The footsteps ended and my vision became black once again.

[ CARNAGE POV ]

I opened my eyes and flexed my body feeling the unlimited power in it. I looked at myself standing at nearly 8 feet with a lean body and sharp claws on my hands and feet. This body is made for killing.

I looked towards Hayato, who pissed his pants in fear after seeing me. I heard footsteps on the stairs and saw 15 men carrying metal bats and rods coming up to the first floor. I dragged Hayato out, using a tendril from my back and covered saki with a blanket in the room with another tendril.

" what the hell..." cursed a guy dropping the baseball bat from his hands.

I looked at each one of them, I didn't need the help of some god to know who's scum. I can feel it and now I can feel that every guy before me is a scum.

I threw Hayato at them and knocked out some off their feet. I pounced upon a nearby guy and ripped him in half.

I grabbed two more and bit their heads off their bodies. I relished in the taste of their brains and licked the blood on my lips.

I saw Hayato trying to crawl away sneaking through the fire exit. Tendrils emerged from my back and stabbed everyone except Hayato to the walls in the corridor.

" Please, leave me. I don't know anything. Me. Obata told us to find you. Please...." Begged Hayato seeing me approach him.

" What does he want with me? " I asked curiously picking him up by his neck.

" You killed the big boss's nephew Andrew and the big boss came here this morning. He ordered everyone to search for you." Said Hayato struggling.

" Where are they, now? " I asked him

" SIN club. I told you all I know, please leave me. Have mercy " pleaded Hayato.

" I'm out of mercy," I said and bit his head off his body along with the spine.

I went into room 105 and kneeled near saki. I touched her hand with my hand and reached into her bloodstream by making my tendrils as thin as possible. I checked for any foreign substances in her blood and found something. I drained it all out through my tendril and shot it on the floor.

Saki started to open her eyes groggily and scrambled back in fear as she saw me. I threw her clothes towards her and started walking out.

" Don't trust anyone easily in this world even your parents. Monsters lurk around us waiting to pounce, so take care of yourself.....

Also, you are beautiful, it's just that people couldn't see it. " I said and jumped out the window in the corridor and climbed to the rooftop.

I jumped onto another rooftop and made my way towards the SIN Club.

I came to a stop on the top of SIN Club and looked down towards the entrance only to see four guards standing huddled around a phone, smoking. I jumped down upon them creating a crater and flattening them in the process.

I shifted into the form of Cletus and turned around hearing the sound of the entrance opening. I sped towards the door and kicked it off its hinges and knocked the men behind it.

I entered the club and saw only a few men. I reasoned that it was because they were searching for me.

" It's him. The guy, we are searching " shouted a random man.

The men took out their guns and started shooting towards me. I decided to flex my human body for a bit and ran towards the guy near me avoiding the bullets aimed at me.

I punched through his chest and plucked out his heart. Everyone stopped seeing me kill a man with a punch.

I sped towards another guy and ripped both his hands and twisted his neck backwards.

I ripped out the intestines, hearts, hands, heads and feet of every guy in the next one minute.

I trailed my tongue all over my hand tasting the metallic taste of the blood. I stopped when I heard movement from behind me and turned to see a white man wearing a white suit, with old mem cowering behind him, beside the white man was another guy wearing a black suit ready to pounce on me.

" I'm gonna enjoy this so much," I said as I can feel the two men wearing white and black suits are supernatural.
