Cheesier than cheese

Much as Jake hated to admit it, he had zero idea about plumbing. 

Scratching the back of his head, he looked at Winter sheepishly. The latter only laughed upon catching sight of the guilty look displayed on his face.

Plumbers, real ones, excused themselves as they followed Winter inside her sister's house. It was a small duplex and from what Winter said, she lived next door. 

For privacy reasons, she had claimed when Jake pointed out how they could have lived in one house.

Further than that, Jake dropped the subject. He didn't want to be pushy.

Following idly behind, Jake Roswell whistled. The house may looked small from the outside but the inside was actually cozy. 

"My sister is a minimalist." Winter shrugged like that should be common knowledge.

"That's awesome. Where is she anyway?"

"Doctor appointment. I told her I'll take care of the plumbers and she can go and see her therapist."

"You don't go with her?"
