Dana heard the knock on her door but she has no energy to answer nor to open the door. She is just slowly removing all her drawings that are taped on her bedroom wall. There is no more reason to come back to this house, she smiled bitterly thinking to herself.
"Dana, are you ready?"
She heard her mother's voice and her bedroom door creaking as it was being pushed gently.
Dana didn't bother herself to look at her mother. She continued peeling off her artworks from the wall and putting it all in a box.
"Dana why are you packing your stuff?" she asked, looking around the room, where half of her things are already inside the box.
"Those in blue boxes will be sent to Shanghai, the others will be for a donation," she answered her mother, avoiding the real question. She doesn't know too, why she has the urge to pack everything in her room.
"The stuff that you are planning to donate, can I just bring them to Cebu?"
